Gabriel watched from his spot disguised as an old man. He watched as you got ready to storm a warehouse with Sam and Dean, you were a hunter. You had met Sam and Dean on a ghost hunt, you had saved Dean, he had been grateful but annoyed that he needed saving. You liked the idea of joining this team. You loved having family, Cas had helped make it complete. You had met Gabriel when you had hunted the trickster and it had turned out to be Gabriel. He had loved the way you had enjoyed his tricks. He loved the way your eyes had lit up when he gave you sweets and chocolates.

He didn't talk to you much however, he never knew what to say. He interfered by making sure the demons didn't hurt you. You never noticed the arch angel protecting you. The whiskey coloured eyes followed you. You didn't notice a demon coming up behind you, Gabriel did and tried to save you. Something got in his way, he blinked and he was in another place. He was in heaven someone had taken him away from you. He rushed back to you. He found you with Dean hovering over your body, there was blood pooling around your figure. He moved forward and Dean jumped at the sight of the angel. He moved to heal you, he tried but something wasn't working. He growled under his breath and tried again. There was something that wasn't working. Tears pooled in his eyes, and a few dripped onto your shirt mixing your blood.

Gabriel watched as Dean and Sam burned your body. Cas stood beside his brother neither knew what to say to the other. Cas loved you like a little sister, he loved teaching you about angels as you loved his stories. Gabriel had fallen for you but he didn't know what to say to the two hunters who had kind of adopted you. Gabriel flew off after your body had burned he arrived in heaven and watched as you were looking around your surroundings watching the memories flood the area. A whoosh informed him he wasn't alone. Michael stood beside him. "Hello brother." Gabriel didn't say anything he watched you enjoy the day that you had chosen. "Pity she had to die." Gabriel felt rage build up in him. "Then again." Michael continued. "There does need to be a death to inspire others to fight and rally around." Gabriel tried to use his powers against his brother but he wasn't strong enough. Michael disarmed his brother and threw him to the ground. "Humans are weak, Gabriel. Emotions are weak. Her death will inspire the Winchester's to do what needs to be done. Rise above such emotions. Angels are better than that." Michael left his grieving brother who was twisting his fingers in the warm grass beneath him. Tears mingled with the green. Gabriel grieved for you and the Winchesters he knew what it was like to be used against your will for a density you didn't want a part in. Gabriel stood, looked at you one more time before leaving never to set eyes on you again.
