Danny wanted you to meet Grace, but he also didn't want you to meet Grace. He and Steve had been arguing about it for the past week. "Gracie will love her."
"You don't know that. Grace could hate her and then Y/N won't want to date me, anyone because my daughter hates me and she doesn't want to get between me and Grace. What if Y/N hates Grace then I can't date because she hates my daughter."
"Danno! Shut up. Y/n loves you and she will love Grace. Grace will love her because she is amazing and kind, so quit freaking out." Steve raised his eyebrows at Danny.
All day, Danny was freaking out. Kono had thrown a punch at him in frustration, which hit him in the shoulder. Chin had tried to calm him down. That didn't work. Nothing seemed to work. Danny drove over to your place freaking out. "Danny, you okay?"
"What you or Gracie don't like each other? I can't lose either of you. I mean it's hard enough finding someone who dates a man with a daughter and an ex-wife and who is a cop."
"Whoa, Danny, calm down. Everything is going to be ok. I have heard so much about Grace, I love her already. She is your daughter, she and I will get on."
When you arrived at the beach, you and Danny walked over to where Grace and Rachel were waiting. Rachel smiled at you and Danny, she left after saying goodbye to Grace. "Hey, Grace, I'm Y/N. It is very nice to meet you, I've heard so much about you." She grinned. "Hi, I've heard a lot about you too. All nice."
"I'm going to get us some shaved ice, okay, Gracie?" Grace nodded and Danny kissed her forehead before moving off with a grin to you. He walked over to the shaved ice truck and saw the team watching him. "Look, Danno, you had nothing to worry about. They are getting along wonderfully." Danny looked over his shoulder at you and Grace laughing together. "I'm going to marry her."
"Careful, Danno, you want this one to last," Steve smirked before, giving a very unlikely Navy Seal shriek as Kono tipped her shaved ice down his shirt.
