You and Ethan had met while on a case. The pair of you had hit it off instantly. You had flirted all night. You had ended up in bed together. In the morning, he had gone to D.C. for work and you had been transferred to Indonesia. You had fallen for Ethan and he had fallen for you. However, the pair of you seemed to always miss each other. You were never in the same place at the same time. When you had been in the same place, you had tried and failed to end up together. Love had bloomed between the pair of you. So, when you had managed to be in the same place you tried to not waste any of the time you had.

You wanted to be more than ships in the night. Loving Ethan like this meant that you may never end up together the idea you were roughly ok with.
