"Lola!" Shane said.

"Shane let me explain," I said.

"We're going home now and you are going to be in trouble." He said.

"Shane?" Duke asked. I looked back at Duke. Shane looked at him.

"Duke?" He asked.

"Of course you to know each other," I said.

"Lola, why are you with him?" Duke asked.

"Kind of a long story," I said.

"If your plan was to come here and ask him for help, then you wasted your time. He won't help us." Shane said. I put my good hand on my hip.

"Why the hell not?" I asked.

"Because he's not going to take out his own father Lola," Shane said. There cousins?

"Wait, Lola, Marco is the one doing this?" Duke asked I looked at him.

"Sorry I bothered you, Duke," I said.

"Wait, Lola, I never said I wasn't  going to help you." He said. I looked at him.

"Duke I won't ask you to go against your father," I said. He grabbed my good hand and pulled me to him.

"He's done me wrong too. He wanted my child as well. He killed my wife because I refused. He isn't my father. He did me wrong too. And if I have a way of stopping him from hurting anyone else then I will." He said. I looked at Shane.

"Could you kill him?" Shane asked. I was surprised. I didn't know what we were gonna do with him but Shane knew.

"Yes," Duke said. Shane then nodded. He looked at me.

"You have a plan?" He asked. I nodded. "Alright then. Show up at the house and we'll get started." He said talking to Duke. Duke nodded and walked back inside with his men. Shane turned to me. I looked at him. "You left the house without my permission. And more importantly, you show up at my cousin's house who is in charge of a very dangerous gang." He said. I took a glance at his watch which read 12 pm.

"Happy birthday," I said. He sighs.

"Don't remind me." He said. I smirked taking a step closer to him.

"Happy Valentine's day," I said. He smiled placing his hands on my hips.

"You scared me." He said.

"I'm sorry. I just knew you would never have let me go. And I didn't know Duke was your cousin." I said.

"Did you know about the Red blood gang?" He asked.

"Yes I did but Duke's had my back since I was 5. He's like my big brother. He would never hurt me in any way." I said.

"Boss, we're gonna head back now," Adam said. Shane looked at him and DJ.

"You two will deal with me when we get back," Shane said. I hit his chest.

"Shane, don't punish them for my mistakes. I asked them to come along because I knew if I came alone you wouldn't be as happy as you are now." I said. He looked down at me.

"Fine get going you two. I'll see you later." He said. The car's doors shut and soon the car was gone. I then was being pulled to Shane's car. I got in it and he did too. The ride was silent on the way home. When we got back to the house I walked into my room grabbing my shorts and a t-shirt. I walked into the bathroom shutting both doors. I pulled my shirt over my head and took my sleeves out of it.

"Lola I-." Shane started opening the bathroom door. I looked at him. I used to him being around I didn't feel the need to cover myself. He took a few steps toward me and I clutched the shirt. He placed a hand on my cheek. "Forgive me for walking in." He said. I stared into his eyes as he stared into mine. "You are so beautiful." He said. His other hand wrapped around my waist pulling me closer to him.
