The doctor sighed, putting in the coordinates. You smiled, holding onto the TARDIS as it shook through the time vortex. You shuffled over to the doors of the TARDIS eager to go show the doctor. You cling onto the railings as it shook and you reached for your hat that you placed there earlier. You smiled at it, knowing you'd finally be able to show it to others back home.

The TARDIS came to a halt and you smiled, reaching to open the door.

"(Y/n)" the doctor called from behind you.

You turned around, watching as she walked up to you.

"We need to talk about...everything" she said.

You sighed, looking down. you really didn't want to talk about any of this with her.

"Can we just go outside for now" you sighed, looking up "I've got loads to show ya" you smiled.

She sighed, nodding. You giggled, turning around and opening the doors. You stepped outside into a flat. A woman and a man stood in front of you in absolute shock of the blue box that appeared in the room.

"(Y/n)??" The woman asked, her eyes wide and her arms crossed.

You giggled, stepping out and walking towards them.

"Hi guys." You smiled, turning to the man "do you live here too now or..." you joked.

"I was visiting." He simply replied, his mouth hanging a little open in shock "Oh my god you weren't lying about it..." he breathed

You pouted, crossing your arms.

"I thought you guys believed me!" You said in a mock hurt voice.

The doors swung open behind you and the doctor stepped out with the others closely behind. They seemed a little confused as to why they were in a normal flat and what could be so interesting here.

"Hello! I'm the doctor! This is-" the doctor was cut off when the woman walked past you and stormed up to the doctor.

"You! You're the doctor!" She asked in a slightly angered voice.

"Why yes!" She smiled proudly.

The man tensed up too and you could all feel the tension. You stepped up to the woman cautiously. But before you could do much she took a swing and punched the doctor right in the face so hard that she went toppling to the floor.

"Doctor!" Yaz, Graham and Ryan shouted at the same time.

Yaz crouched down to help her, her police training kicking in. Or maybe it was because she cared about her crush and wanted to get a little closer to her.

"Joanna What the hell!" You shouted at her, standing in between her and the doctor.

"And that's for leaving her for NINE fucking years! Do you have ANY idea the shit she's been though because of you!" She screamed.

"You're gonna get another one clocked to your face in a minute by me too!" The man shouted.

You moved in front of him too, trying to spread your arms so they both won't go near the doctor.

"No! Charlie don't you dare touch her! Jo, Charlie don't you even think about it!" You said sternly to the pair of them.

You heard the doctor groan a little behind you as she sat up. Yaz crouched in front of her, placing a hand on her jaw, checking her over. The doctor blushed at the touch of her fingers gliding down her jaw.

"I could get you arrested for assault!" Yaz seethed at the two.

"No! Yaz Wait...I can explain..." you stuttered, glaring at the two in front of you.

"I...I don't even know who these people are...." the doctor winced as she spoke.

Yaz sighed, grabbing a napkin and pressing it against the doctor's bleeding lip.

"They're my siblings!" You said through gritted teeth.

The four behind you froze, their eyes averting to the two people in front of you.

"Mum had kids when she was nineteen. She gave them up for adoption and I can explain everything once we've stopped hitting each other! God I thought this was going to be a good surprise for all of us!" You shouted, you placed your hands over your eyes.

So after everyone calmed down a little you were sat around a table, no one really making eye contact. You were sat with your arms crossed, tense with anger at your siblings.

"So....siblings?" The doctor was the first to break the silence.

You sighed, finally making eye contact with the doctor at least.

"I found out that I had a grandparent still alive. I saw a picture of my grandma and an address of where she currently lived when I was looking through some of mums old stuff so I went to go see her. She told me about how mum gave birth to twins at only nineteen which caused my grandparents to get very angry and disown mum. So she felt she had no choice but to give them up for adoption. Gran dies about five years ago so I didn't really get much time with her either. But I was just never old enough for mum to have mentioned it before she passed away. These guys are like ten years older than me. So I did some digging and tracked them down. And here they are. Joanna and Charlie." You explained.

Your siblings looked like they were still a little angered and weren't really showing much more emotion whereas the team TARDIS was in complete shock. They were watching the two, glancing between you and them.

"I'm Yaz by the way. This is Graham and Ryan" Yaz tried to smile, but was obviously still angered because of the doctor's injury.

"We know! (Y/n) used to tell us of all your adventures and how much she missed them! Do you have any idea how much it hurt her that you just left her!" Joanna shouted.

"Right. I'm just going to go get some tea. Anyone for tea?" You said really quickly, getting up and heading away from the group.

No one replied as they were still watching in shock. You sighed, walking towards your sister's kitchen. You were going to make yourself a cuppa until you saw the bottle of gin on the table. You grabbed a glass and filled it quiet full and started to sip on it. You closed your eyes as the liquid burnt your throat. You needed this to distract you from the whole situation at hand. You expected it to be a nice introduction to each other but the thing you were least expecting was for your siblings to try and hit the doctor!

You sighed, taking a rather large few gulps of the alcohol before walking back to the kitchen. Before you went around the corner you snuck behind the wall and listened in to the conversation that was now going between them.

"I'm assuming you know about the self harm" that sounded like the doctor was asking.

"Of course" Charlie replied a little snappy.

"Do you know why she doesn't let anyone touch her anymore" The doctor asked, trying to get them to elaborate more on at least one subject.

"Well she's never really been one for physical co tact. For as long as we've known her anyways" Charlie replied.

"She used to love hugs when I knew her" the doctor said in confusion.

"Maybe if you didn't leave her she would still love them! I've never been able to give her one, ever!" Your sister snapped rudely.

You sighed, bringing the glass to your mouth and chugging the liquid.

"So she doesn't let you touch her either" the doctor asked.

"No one doctor. I don't know why, but she's always afraid to get close to anyone" Charlie said.

And he couldn't be more right. You were afraid. Afraid of everyone. So much so that you don't let them close to you.
