You walked out of your room, and made your way down to the control room. You made a small stop but the kitchen, grabbing a cereal bar for breakfast before continuing down. You took some bites of the bar, wondering where the doctor would take you this time. You assumed it would be somewhere nice, seeing as the doctor literally nearly lost Yaz yesterday. That made her realise just how many places she wanted to take her. You hoped they'd be somewhere nice and not like the junk planets you'd heard about.

You knew that everyone else was going to know you spent the night in Missy's room. You groaned, knowing how much you really liked Missy. But you couldn't tell the others. They'd never stop teasing you about it. And it was obvious she didn't like you back so it's just best to not make a fool out of yourself. Maybe you should just push these feelings away. Urgh but she was too hard to push away and you didn't want to push her away, you wanted to keep her as close to you as possible. This was so complicated!

You reached the control room and couldn't help but notice all the stares you were getting. Everyone was grinning like mad and you noticed Missy wasn't here yet. Great, they'd be able to tease you.

"I don't know if you've got the idea yet but I don't like it when people stare at me" you told everyone, finishing your breakfast bar.

"You also don't like it when people touch you. Well, people being everyone but Missy" Ryan smirked.

You groaned, not making eye contact with anyone. You knew they weren't going to drop this. God you wish Yaz didn't catch you coming out of Missy's room.

"Also...you spent the night with Missy" the doctor smiled.

Graham chuckled and you could feel the heat rising up your neck. You turned to them, crossing your arms.

"I couldn't sleep that's all. So, I went to her to rant about everything and just to...talk" you said.

"But you stayed the night" Yaz grinned.

"She insisted! Can you drop it, nothing happened, I don't even like her" you said.

God how you really did like her. More than anyone else ever. She was so different to everyone else.

"Well, we know that's a lie" Ryan laughed "you've been crushing the first day we met her"

"Listen we're really happy for you both." Graham told you with a smile.

You felt the heat on your reddened cheeks. You shook your head in denial.

"I..I don't....like her..." you stuttered.

"Well that's a shame cuz she really likes you" the doctor smiled.

Your heart fluttered and your breath hitched. She liked you?! No way! The doctor was messing with you. There's no way she'd like you. Why would someone like her like you?

"That's...that's not true..." you said, keeping your eyes fixed on the doctor.

The doctor sighed playfully, shrugging her shoulders as she flicked a few switches on the control panel. She had a huge grin on her face and you couldn't help but ask if what she was saying about Missy liking you was true. But then again, it couldn't look like you actually liked her.

"W..What makes you think she likes me?" You asked.

The doctor looked over to you with a big smirk on her face. You couldn't make eye contact and the heat was rising on your cheeks now. Everyone had knowing eyes on you and you couldn't help but feel like you might have just let it out of the bag. But you weren't going to stop denying it just yet.

"She's never this nice to people (y/n). And she's acting very...protectively around you. And she actually let you stay the night with her...in her bed" the doctor told you with a huge smirk on her face.

"Nothing happened!" You exclaimed.

Your face felt like it was on fire. You now knew you wanted to go somewhere cold. Anywhere to help stop this blush. It was getting a little out of hand now. But the fact that Missy might actually like you back... no way! What were you to her, nothing but a tiny human.

"You're wrong. She doesn't like me that way...and I don't like her in that way. We're just friends" you told everyone in denial. "Literally, nothing happened I just couldn't sleep. We're just friends" you emphasised.

"Oh, don't worry. We'll get you two together" Yaz smirked.

"What..." You said in shock, at a loss for words.

"It's the least we can do. You got me and the doctor together. Just call this returning the favour" Yaz said.

"N..no.. Yaz I don't lik-" you immediately shut up when you heard footsteps coming from the corridor.

You glared at everyone. They each had a huge smirk on their face and you knew you were as red as a tomato. She walked straight over to the control room, everyone else finally averting their eyes and acting normal.

"So, where to today?" Missy asked.

"You guys should choose" Ryan said. "We can never decide"

"Actually" you called.

Everyone looked your way, and naturally everyone except Missy couldn't help but wear that stupid smirk on their face.

"C..can we go somewhere cold? It's...warm in here..." you mumbled the last bit, trying not to make it obvious you were talking about your blushing situation.

The doctor laughed a little, nodding her head. They all had knowing eyes on you expect for Missy who was oblivious to the conversation that you just had. She didn't even know that they found out you spent the night in her room. Actually, you should probably tell her at some point, in case they start saying things to Missy about your crush, which you were never going to admit to.

"Sure. There's this amazing place which snows different colours and amazing views" the doctor said, turning to the control panel.

"Need help?" Missy offered, walking over to the control panel too.

The doctor stopped her, shaking her head with a mischievous grin on her face. God, what was she planning?

"I'm fine Missy, you probably don't know the place anyways. You just...stand over there" the doctor said, pointing in your direction.

Your eyes widened as you glared at her. Everyone else suppressed sniggers as Missy turned around with a confused look on her face, then back to the doctor.

"Why?" She asked.

"Oh, (y/n)'s known for falling over when the TARDIS takes off sometimes. You should just...hold her. You know, arms around the waist usually helps" the doctor said with that stupid grin.

Your jaw fell slightly as you stared with wide eyes at the doctor. She was really doing this right now.

"O..okay..?" Missy shrugged, walking over to you.

You laughed nervously as Missy stood next to you, not holding you just yet. Which the doctor knew exactly how to fix. She sent the TARDIS jilting into action very suddenly, before you even got a chance to hold anything, almost sending you tumbling to the floor.
