13th Doctor x reader

Morning

"(Y/n)?"

You jumped awake at Your name to wake to the sight of the doctor standing in front of you with a very amused face. You were a little confused at first but once you looked around you knew exactly where you were. You must have nodded off on the kitchen floor. You were still sitting on the floor by the fridge with a now melted tub of ice cream and a hot water bottle gone cold.

"What are you doing down there?" She smiled, crouching down in front of you.

"I must have nodded off. Mind you I do feel great right now after that sleep" you thought a little to yourself.

"On the kitchen floor?" She asked, a smile plastered on her lips.

"Oh that, it's nothing. I wasn't intending on sleeping down her but what can I say. With a whole tub of ice cream and a warm water bottle I felt sooo relaxed" you smiled.

You looked down at your lap, picking up the water bottle. You frowned a little at its coldness and at the melted liquid in the ice cream tub.

"Well I mean...it was once ice cream. Now it's more of a liquid...cream. And this has gone cold" you set the bottle aside.

You got up and rubbed your eyes, stretching your body. You must have looked so stupid sitting there with a whole tub of ice cream on the floor and a water bottle in your night gown asleep. You looked around for a moment, not sure what to do with the melted ice cream. You couldn't exactly just put it back in the fridge.

You shrugged your shoulders, opening a cupboard and reaching for a glass. You took the tub and poured the liquid into the glass. You didn't even think twice before downing the whole thing. You only stopped when you saw the doctor's frozen face on you.

"What?" You asked her, putting the glass down and whipping your face

"That's a really strange thing to do" she commented, her face half way between disgusted, confused and amazed at the idea.

You shrugged your shoulders, putting the glass in the dish washer.

"Still tastes great" you replied.

You saw the doctor shrug her shoulders too as she nodded in agreement. You were really weird but you learnt a long time ago to embrace that instead of trying to be someone you weren't. Plus, for the majority of your life you were living alone and everything so there was no one there to really judge you.

"Okay, well everyone's waiting in the console room for our next adventure" she smiled. "We were wondering where you were then Graham suggested you might be in the kitchen"

You smiled back, about to go with her, only to realise that you were still in your nightie. You stopped, clearing your throat in embarrassment.

"I'm still in my nightie." You mumbled quietly.

"So what, who cares? Come on, the universe is waiting for us" the doctor smiled, urging you to hurry up.

You smiled at her, giving her a look to tell her you were going to change. She frowned, crossing her arms like a toddler about to throw a tantrum. You laughed at her expression.

"Doctor I won't be a moment I promise" you smiled.

"Hurry up then" she smiled.

You nodded, walking back to your room. You quickly got yourself ready for another most definitely action packed day.

You hurried down to the console room, knowing that the doctor would be getting impatient. You'd learnt a while back that she'd refuse to go anywhere before all of you were present and accounted for for the next day. You all had to be there to choose where to go according to her. You really didn't mind where she took you but that didn't seem to stop her from asking you all.

"Morning guys" you called cheerfully.

Everyone turned and smiled at you, returning the good morning. You stepped up towards them all, standing next to one of the golden shards. The doctor seemed super happy you had finally turned up.

"Where do you all want to go today?" The doctor asked, dancing around the TARDIS controls, just urging to flick a few switches.

You shrugged your shoulders, seeing everyone else just as lost.

"You can choose doctor" Yaz smiled.

The doctor walked over to her, smiling brightly.

"Why? Don't you want to choose?" The doctor asked.

"It's just that you're the one that's been everywhere" Yaz smiled, booping the doctor's nose, causing her to scrunch her face like a puppy.

"Well that's the thing. How can I choose if I've been everywhere?" The doctor smiled.

"Pick one at random" she replied.

The doctor tilted her head as she thought for a moment. After a few seconds the doctor looked back at Yaz, shrugging her shoulders, causing Yaz to laugh. She lent in and gave the doctor a quick peck on the lips.

"I love you you know that right" she smiled.

The doctor smiled lovingly back, admiring her girlfriend, holding her hand in hers.

"Well, I love you more. But that still doesn't answer where we want to go next" The doctor said.

"Is there a place with loads of food?" You asked suddenly.

Everyone turned around and faced you. You looked back at them, smiling awkwardly. You rolled your eyes, crossing your arms.

"Oh come on guys, you can't tell me you weren't thinking about food too" you said "you should always be thinking about food. Foods great!" You smiled.

"You just ate a whole tub of ice cream! For breakfast! How are you still hungry?" The doctor asked you in shock.

"Are you calling me fat?!" You glared at her, giving her a look that could kill.

You were shocked and annoyed that she would think such a thing. Just cuz you liked food. Everyone likes food! Right?

"No! I wasn't! I'm just...wait, how did you even get to that conclusion?" The doctor asked.

You smiled, shaking your head. Oh god you were having real mood swings.

"Well, there is this planet which has different flavoured clouds. It's like one big candy floss sky" the doctor smiled.

"Sounds awesome!" Ryan smiled.

"Right then! Planet werlask here we come!" The doctor announced brightly.
