You'd finally finished with the food. It was still in the oven which was now switched off so that there wouldn't be any heat loss. You smiled at Yaz in triumph.

"It smells great! You really are a good cook" Yaz smiled.

"Thanks. I think we should get everyone" you said.

Yaz nodded in agreement and you both took off your aprons and started heading for the library. You and Yaz were making small talk on the way and you were honestly just happy that she'd dropped the whole Missy thing. She was pushing it throughout the whole time in the kitchen.

You went into the library and followed Yaz to where they were all sat. They were all sat around one of the wood burning fireplaces. Yaz smiled as she watched the doctor tell them about some of her adventures, the two boys listening intriguingly.

"Guys the food's done" Yaz smiled.

"Oh, great! I'm starving" Ryan exclaimed, the three of them getting up.

You noticed Missy wasn't anywhere to be seen and you looked around a little, wondering if she was somewhere around the library.

"Where's Missy?" You asked.

"Oh, she said she didn't want to stay in the library anymore. She said she wouldn't be far" the doctor said.

You nodded your head and smiled slightly.

"Well then, I'll just go get her. You guys should head to the dining room" you said.

You saw everyone hold knowing smirks and you rolled your eyes, as if you hadn't had enough of that in the kitchen!

You walked out of the library and shrugged, not really knowing which was Missy went. You kind of hoped that the TARDIS would help with that so you just chose a random route. You walked down, peeping your head in the rooms but finding them all empty.

You sighed, walking on a little further until you started to hear a piano playing with soft singing. You smiled, realising she was in the music room. You quickly made your way and stood behind the wall, peeping your head through the doorway a little so Missy wouldn't catch you watching. You smiled as you watched her play and sing. You didn't know she could play the piano. And she was a really good singer too! You didn't know the song she was playing but you couldn't help play close attention to the lyrics.

"And I heard those words and knew them
I could feel your pain
Cuz I have felt disabled
She said we are penguins on the ice
We're not meant to fly
But god knows we can try
Oh I see a hope that's in her eyes
Can you feel the love in mine?"

You couldn't help but smile at the song choice and her angelic voice. You silently wished she was singing this song to you but you knew she was probably just singing a random song.

"You're really talented" you finally called out and stepped into the room.

You saw her jump and you instantly felt bad for scaring her. You smiled apologetically at her and she shook her head at you.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you" you smiled.

"Yeah you nearly gave me a heart attack" she said.

"Which heart?" You asked with a smile, standing and resting against the grand piano.

She looked at you with a raised brow and a smile. You couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked.

"Both" she replied, making you laugh.

"I didn't know you played piano, you're really talented." you said.

"Oh, it's nothing really. I've had years to learn" she smiled.

"Do you know how to play any other instruments?" You asked "other than the triangle which the doctor is very determined to prove is the most important instrument" you giggled.

She smiled, playing a few lazy notes on the piano.

"I play a little violin. Although I prefer Piano it's easier to play and I honestly think it sounds nicer" she told you.

You gasped at her "oh my god I've always wanted to learn to play violin as a kid! I heard it's a really hard instrument to learn though. And I was busy learning piano and guitar. Plus when I got a little older I also decided to try out drums" you said.

"I could teach you some time if you'd like? I mean...if we ever get time outside of travelling all the time" she chuckled.

You felt your heart pick up at the thought of spending more time with her. And you actually did want to learn, and who better than with your crush.

"That'd be great, thanks." You smiled.

"So..are you going to play a piece for me or not?" She asked, shuffling along the piano stool.

You smiled, and walked around to sit next to her in the stool. You put your hands out, and thought of a piece to play. You decided on a classical piano piece of Clair de Lune. You smiled as you started to play. You could see Missy watching you from the corner of your eye  and your arms kept brushing past each other now and again and it was incredibly distracting. Luckily you'd played this piece a million times you could play it with your eyes closed. You decided on stopping though when you found yourself blushing at the thought of her watching you for so long.

"That was really good!" Missy praised.

"Thank you so much!" you smiled.

Missy smiled and she started playing a piece on the piano. You couldn't help but just watch how elegantly she played. You had to practically rip your eyes away before you remembered the food was probably getting cold.

"Missy, the food's done. We should probably get going" you said.

She nodded and stopped playing. You frowned a little as she stopped but tried not to show your disappointment. She got up and put the lid down on the piano keys, tucking the stool under. You smiled at her and quickly looked away when she turned around.

"Anyways. Foods getting cold" you smiled.

"Yeah" She said, walking towards the door with you.

"And I cooked so you better hurry up" you smiled, hurrying her down the corridor.
