You stepped up the stairs, trying not to look up and see how far you had left to go. But judging by the fact that you weren't very far up you knew it was still a big climb. Your legs had already started to sting in fatigue and you really didn't know if you'd be able to climb the mountain this time.

"Doctor, there's no way I'll reach the top" you called out.

She turned around, crossing her arms. You already knew she was about to give you some big talk about how you can do anything.

She spoke in an inspiring tone "No way! Listen to me, you can do anything if you try really hard. Even the most impossible tasks become easy once you start to believe in yourself. In a few moments of believing and persevering-"

"Were you a university professor?" You asked her, cutting her off.

She smiled instantly, turning around and continuing to climb. You sighed, following her.

"Actually yes I was" she told you.

You stopped for a moment, shocked that she actually was. You smiled, continuing to go up the stairs.

"You know, I don't think I should be so surprised that you actually were. Seriously though, is there anything that you haven't done?" You asked her.

"Well, I've tried to do everything. I've had all the time to do so" The doctor says.

Your legs were growing increasingly tired and you really didn't think you were going to make it all the way to the top. But you also didn't want to tell the doctor again as she would give you a really unnecessary speech about believing in yourself and accomplishing your dreams. You loved her speeches but sometimes you really didn't need her to keep on doing it every time you say something negative about yourself. You weren't perfect after all. Far from it.

"Okay. Even I'm getting tired now" Graham breathed, a hand leaning on the mountain wall for support.

You laughed a little, raising a brow towards the doctor and crossing your arms. She sighed, observing how far up you were. You smiled smugly at her, as if to tell her you'd have to slow down at least.

"No! We're going to reach the top! Come on, we'll take breaks if you need to but you have to see the clouds. And then taste them!" The doctor smiled.

You laughed , continuing to climb.

"Yeah, we might have to take quite a few breaks then" you giggled.

Suddenly a strong cramp hit you and you instantly shouted in pain, crouching down and clutching onto your stomach, squeezing your eyes shut. The doctor instantly stopped, turning and quickly heading towards you.

"(Y/n)? What's wrong?" The doctor asked you urgently.

"I'm fine! You're always on my back can you just leave me alone!" You snapped at her angrily.

You didn't mean for it to come out so bitchy but it just sort of happened. You were probably the worst person to be around while having your mood swings. You could be laughing and having a good time then in one second you're a complete bitch. The doctor was a little taken aback by your outburst.

"I'm sorry...I was just making sure you were-" you cut the doctor off again before she could finish her sentence.

"Well you don't need to make sure! You know what just...don't talk to me" you said, standing up and pulling out your earphones.

You unfortunately pulled them out of your pocket a little too fast and dropped your earphones down the mountainside. You stood frozen in shock as you watched them plummet to the ground below.

"Oh my days are you serious! I give up! How can I get up THIS without my music!" You screamed, pulling at your hair.

"Calm down (y/n). I'll get you some new ones when we get back to the TARDIS" the doctor tried to calm you.

You glared at her, crossing your arms. You were seriously considering just blasting your music straight from your phone but you didn't really want the doctor to hear your overly depressing music. As if you didn't have enough for her to be on your back about already.

"Well what am I supposed to do now?" You huffed in frustration.

"You're emotions have been all over the place are you feeling okay?" She asked, worry in her eyes.

You instantly started to smirk at this, your emotions lightening up again. You rolled your eyes, sighing at how unpredictable your mood was.

"I wouldn't worry so much doctor" you smiled, shaking your head a little as you stared up into the far away sky.

"Well, I did say I had many stories to tell. Perhaps it'll help pass the time" you heard Anicus call from behind you.

You'd forgotten he was even with you guys. You turned and smiled, shrugging your shoulders. It seemed like the best idea.

"Right then. Well, once upon a time, the kindest people known on this planet had a child. They named her Isla. She grew up to be the most beautiful young woman in the land" he started.

You were already pretty invested and we're slowly climbing up the mountain.

"However Isla's parents were very protective of their daughter and didn't want anything to happen to her. However, their worries grew and grew each year, and decided the best way to keep their daughter safe was to lock her in a castle they created for her on the ground in a island that was impossibly dangerous to cross to. And she lived there forever. However just as no one could go in, she couldn't leave."the man continued.

"Wait, her parents locked her up!" Yaz exclaimed in shock, her eyes wide as you continued to climb up.

"Her parents made sure she had everything in that castle. However, she grew very lonely." The man explained.

You continued to listen, growing more and more intrigued by the second.

"Word spread that this beautiful woman was somewhere out there on her own. So many men decided to make it their mission to find her. However most of them failed to even find out where she was. And those who did figure that out, they all died while trying to reach her castle through the treacherous waters and forests surrounding her castle. Only one man succeeded. His name was Archie. He instantly fell in love with Isla as soon as she saw beautiful Isla. And Isla instantly fell for Archie, feeling the happiest and most relieved she'd ever felt once seeing him after spending her whole life on her own. So he asked for her hand in marriage. However she refused" he smiled.

"Why?" Ryan asked, a little breathless from the climbing.

"First, she asked him to take her away from that castle and show her the sky. Once he took her to these skies, they both indulged themselves in the clouds, Isla for the first time feeling a sense of freedom. Only then did she accept his hand in marriage" he smiled.

"Let me guess, they all lived happily ever after up in the sky?" The doctor guessed.

"No"
