You instantly got up, smiling brightly. Now this was an idea you were up to.

"Definitely! Yes, yes and yes!" You smiled.

"Space is awesome. Here we come!" The doctor shouted up to the ceiling.

You giggled, nodding and following the doctor out of the music room. You really did just want to go on another planet. It had been nearly two weeks since you'd last stepped on one. And you missed travelling and being millions and billions of light years away from home.

You followed the doctor down the corridor, a few steps behind, making sure to keep an eye on her this time, as not to get separated again. Your hand was aching a little and you started to massage and rub it with your other hand, wincing a little at the pain. It probably wasn't best to play the guitar while your hand was still healing. But it wasn't too bad.

"You alright?" The doctor asked, giving your hand a glance.

"Oh yeah. Just haven't played guitar in a while that's all." You replied.

You noticed how good at lying you were getting lately. Maybe it wasn't very believable sometimes but you never told the truth. You always seemed to come up with something. It was just sad that the truth wasn't as nice. Just thinking about how your life planned out was saddening.

You made your way to the control room behind the doctor, a small frown set on your face. You stood by the metal railings, waiting for the doctor to take you wherever. Just somewhere out there in space. Somewhere that might just make you smile for more than five minutes.

"Let's go somewhere amazing." The doctor smiled, switching different parts of the control.

You nodded, not really paying much attention. You just needed to get out there again. You didn't even know how much just being away for around two weeks would have changed your mood. It was like you were in a constant state of depression and you tried hard to just smile but it didn't seem to last. The only thing that did hold on to you was the utter fear and sadness you constantly felt. Why couldn't the universe just love you? Why couldn't you just love yourself?

You sighed, seeing the doctor pull down the big leaver. You quickly held onto the railings and the TARDIS shook to life. The familiar whoozing noise of the TARDIS filled your ears and you couldn't help but feel like your chest was a little lighter. The sound always brought hope, wherever it went. But mostly it brought it to you.

And too quickly it was gone, the TARDIS stopped dead still. You let go of the railings, your hand aching slightly. You looked over to the others, the doctor gesturing you to follow her out the door. So you started walking behind everyone, your hands in your pockets.

The doctor opened the door and the light made you squint your eyes. You were a few steps away from the others and waited for them all to leave before you got near the doors too.

You stepped out, seeing the beautiful scenery in front of you. It looked like some sort of national park, but on an alien planet. The trees neatly lined the two sides of the path you were standing on. The grass was a wonderful blue/turquoise colour. The trees looked like they had some strange fruit growing on them, like a yellow and red spotted fruit. At least you thought it was a fruit, considering the fact that the doctor was already picking one off the trees and peeling it.

"These are called uner fruits. They're really nice. Try one!" The doctor smiled, taking a bit out of it.

You immediately complied, picking one. You'd barely eaten in days so this was so something you needed. You quickly picked one, it was about the size of the palm of your hand and a sort of oblong shape. You peeled it, finding it surprisingly easy to peel, unlike a lot of fruits on earth. And the actual fruit turned out to be a bright scarlet red.

You admired the beautiful colour before taking a bite. It was a sweet fruit with a hint of sourness in the after taste. It was really juicy and the flavour wasn't like anything on earth.

"This tastes really good" you said between mouthfuls.

Everyone else nodded in agreement too, all of you just taking this moment of peace. But of course the doctor couldn't just stay still for a few minutes. And she quickly turned to you all with a bright smile on her face. One which you wished you were able to pull.

"Shall we go take a walk? It's a really big park, there's loads to see" the doctor smiled.

"Sure doc" Graham smiled.

You shrugged your shoulders, nodding. The doctor almost jumped a meter in the air in happiness and excitement. She turned and started to direct you to follow. You walked behind everyone a few steps away, getting rid of the peel of the fruits.

The doctor was giving you a whole explanation about what everything was and how it was made and the history of the place and what will happen in the future. It was like having your own personal tour guide with a few spoilers about the future. And you'd learnt that this place was actually abandoned recently by the population that lived here because they got a whole new opportunity on another planet. This was only a temporary home apparently as the people searched for a home to house all the growing population.

You were just admiring the view, the warmth of the alien sun warming you up. The doctor's voice was just whitewash at this point and then you saw something that caused you to stop dead in your tracks. You squinted your eyes, making sure that you were seeing what you were. It was a person! An actual person just sitting by a tree across the field.

You stared, splitting away from the doctor and the others and heading towards this person. This stranger that shouldn't even be on this planet.
