Skull's pov
"I love you babe." "Love you too..." I put my arm around Army's shoulder, and kissed his cheek. Just then Mask walked into the room, and I couldn't help but stare. I mean, I loved my boyfriend, but he never seemed interested in our relationship. He always seemed reluctant to kiss back, he hardly said he loved me, and he never really made eye contact with me.
Mask gave me a small wave, and grabbed his mask from the counter. I waved back, and he walked back up to his room. Suddenly, Army got up and went upstairs. "Were are you going?" "Aloha wants to hang out." "Again?" "Yup. He wants to go over battle strategies." "Ok. I love you." Army didn't say anything. I burried my face in my hands, and began to cry a little. I felt the couch sink a little next to me, and I felt a pair of arms wrap around my neck.
"Mask?" "I heard youuu guys talking? Are youuu ok?" "I'm fine...I just...feel like he doesn't care about me anymore." "Wellll...I care about you..." "I know you do." I pulled him into a tight hug, and held him close as I began to cry. For the rest of the night, he stayed by my side and made sure I was ok. Something Army never did. He always ignored me, even though the relationship was his idea.
Mask's perfect little body was cuddled up to me all night. I sometimes wish he was my boyfriend instead of Army. But...Army loved me. Didn't he? I decided not to think about it to much, and just let Mask sleep in my lap.
~the next morning~
"Skull? Skullll, waaake up!" I slowly opened my eyes to see Mask's face a few inches away from mine. "Oh. Hey..." "The others want to go out and do a 2v2 turf war..." "Ugh, fine. What time is it?" "It's 9:00." "Huh." I got up and walked to my room to get dressed. I pulled off my pants and shirt, changed my underwear, and pulled on a pair of shorts. "Hey Skull, Aloha wants to know what- OH MY GOD!"
Mask was in the doorway, his face covered in a cyan blush. I looked at him confused, before I realized. I didn't have a shirt on yet. I blushed to, and pulled on my octo tee. "U-Umm...Aloha wants to know what stage we should do the battle on..." "Any stage is fine." "O-Ooook!" He dashed off, and I couldn't help but smile at his cute little face when he was flustered.
I walked outside and say Mask standing there, rocking back and forth on his feet. "Where are the others?" "They left." I sighed. I grabbed Mask's hand and my weapon, and dragged him out of the house. "Where's the match?" "Moray Towers." "Great." We continued walking for a few minutes, before I sighed. "Mask...I think I'm going to break up with Army..." "What? Why?" "Because! He treats me like I'm not even there! And hes always with Aloha going over 'battle strategies'. He never even looks at me!"
"Calm dooown. It's ook... I've noticed the things he's been doing...I just never thought it was hurting youuuu...I'm sooorrrryyy..." "Don't be." We opened the door to Moray Towers, and both froze at the sight. Army and Aloha were there...
Kissing.
They didn't even realize we were standing there. I took a step forward, and looked at them. "So." They quickly pulled apart in shock. "This is what you've been doing? You said you were going over battle strategies." "S-Skull, I can explain!" "Save it. We're over!" I turned around and stormed out of the stage. "Skull! Wait!" I heard Mask run after me, so I ran faster. "Skull!"
I ran back to my apartment, tears running down my face. I opened the door and looked back. Mask was running after me, so I turned around and held my arms out. He wrapped his arms around me in a hug. I began to sob and picked him up, sqeezing him like a teddy bear. "Are you ok?" He asked. "N-No..." I pulled him into the house, and rested my head in his neck. "I just...I knew something was up, but-" "Shh... It's ok..." Mask pulled down my bandana so I could breath better, and he lifted up his mask so that I could hear his voice.
"C'mon...Just let it out...." I pulled him closer. "C'mooon...will caandy make youuu feel better?" "No..." "Well...what will make you feel better?" "A kiss..." "F-Froom meee? "Yes....Mask... I've had a crush on you for a while now...I always wondered what it would be like to have you as a boyfriend... because... Even though you claim to have no emotions... you're so sweet...a-and cute..."
We both blushed, and Mask leaned in. Our lips locked, and I placed my hands on his cheeks. "Mmm..." The tips of his tentacles turned purple, and I could fell the ends of mine turning cyan. We pulled apart, and looked at eachother. "Wow...That was the best kiss I've ever had..." "That was the only kiss I've had!" I laughed and pulled him into another kiss. "Mask...Will you be my boyfriend?" "But... don't you want to at least talk to Army first?" "No. I've had enough of his lies." Mask gave a shy laugh. He began to kiss my cheek, wiping away my tears away.
"I've always loved you. You and your perfect little self." "I...I love you too...and yes, I will be your boyfriend!" I pulled him on top of me and we began to kiss more. "Wanna watch a movie together?" "Sure what movie?" "Coraline? I know you love that one." He nodded and leaned against my shoulder as I turned the movie on. "Love you." "I love you too." I chuckled. "Haven't heard that in a while..." "You'll be able to hear it all the time now." "I'm glad."
