"Hello Y/n, welcome back."

As she walked into the library, Y/n's friend Koharu found her at the front door. "H-Hi K-Koharu." Y/n greeted in her regular, timid way. Strangely, she had always been like this. She had always been the stereotypical nervous girl who spent her time in the library, not saying that was bad though, it earned her good results in tests and subjects.

Y/n lightly dropped her book onto the table and Koharu sat beside her as Y/n sat down as well. "Hey Y/n, when are you gonna start dating?" Koharu asked with a small smirk as she played with her long, black hair between two fingers.

"Ugh, Koharu, stop asking. I'll probably never date so that's out the picture for me." Y/n responded. Koharu sighed, laying her face onto the table, looking up at her concentrated face. "How about girls? Girls are cute too!" "No Koharu, girls are cute but I don't think any will ever accept me. Not any in this state anyway."

Koharu huffed, sitting up and pouting her lips, crossing her arms. Her brown eyes scanned the library and stopped at a familiar sight. The witty girl tapped two fingers onto Y/n's shoulder. "Hey, at one-o'clock. Check 'em out~"

Y/n looked up from her book, noticing who she was pointing to. Jotaro Kujo. A 6'5 tall student, dark hair and sun-kissed skin, his eyes being the thing that stood out the most. Compared to all the black he wore, his eyes were a lovely shade of green, or blue, like ocean waters.

"J-Jotaro Kujo? The de-deli-delinquent student?" "I was actually looking at his buddy Kakyoin, but yeah, he's cute, I guess." "Y-you have a thing wi-with the feminine guys." "I know~"

Y/n was about to focus more onto her book, but now that Koharu had mentioned it, she found herself glancing at him every few seconds. The girl beside her happened to notice and a smile slinked onto her face. "Were you- were you peeking at Jotaro~?" "What? N-N-No."

Koharu sat up properly, shaking her head as she looked at her. "..Wh-what?" "I think you two would be cute." "H-Huh?" "Aww, c'mon! He's probably into you too!" "Ko-Koharu!" "What!?"

"Oi."

The girls whipped their heads back. Jotaro Kujo, he was actually standing there. He leaned over Y/n's shoulder, looking down at the book Y/n had been reading. "No wonder I couldn't find it. Good grief, you have good taste, woman."

"Jotaro, personal space! Gosh." Kakyoin said, his voice light as always. Jotaro took a step back to Kakyoin. "I'm sorry about him." The red-head said. Jotaro's stare at Y/n lingered as the two walked away and out the library. Only then had Y/n realized the thrill in her heart.

"Y/n! He complimented you! Oh my- If you get with him please help me hook up with Kakyoin!" Koharu cheered as she grabbed onto Y/n's sleeve excitedly. The timid girl ignored her words.

Later that day, Y/n had been walking outside beside Koharu who was chatting as always. "And- Hey Y/n, are you sure you're good with carrying all those books?" She said, gazing up at the semi-tall stack of books the girl was holding in her arms. "Yeah, I-I'm fine."

Koharu groaned under her breath. "Alright buddy. If you say so."

Suddenly, a rough force had hit Y/n in her back, making her fall over. Due to the books she was holding, she had fallen onto the books as they tumbled over, the corners covers digging into her slightly, paper-cuts had suddenly appeared on her skin. "Y/n! Are you okay- Oof!"

Koharu fell over onto the concrete as well, slightly scraping her skin on the ground. "Holy shit! They threw fucking rocks!" Koharu sat up, looking over at the gaggle of people who had thrown the rocks at them.

"Hello queers." The seeming leader of them said, sneering at them. Koharu stood up, walking over to the leader. "Now listen. Me and my friend are having a good day and we don't wanna fight so-" "Shut it, lesbi-whore!" "Make me."

"Oi, stop bothering them and fuck off!" And just before a fight could break out came the tall-dark savior. The group of brats left, their noses high as they do. Jotaro looked down at Koharu, his gaze was as it always was, but a bit lighter too. "...Good effort trying to stop them." He said. Koharu smiled and nodded.

Jotaro then walked over to the timid girl, she was kneeling down by the books with a few tears going down her cheeks as she picked the books up meekly. "Hey, what's the matter?" "Th-the books. Th-they're c-covers are s-scr-scratched." She stuttered out.

Jotaro sighed, helping her pick the books back up with her. Then, the cheesiest thing had to happen. The classic goes to grab the same book but ends up touching hands together. At the sudden touch, Y/n retracted her hand, blushing lightly as she stood up. Jotaro picked up the book and took her small stack, adding it onto his. "I'll take these to the library, no need to thank me."

Y/n nodded, she was about to join up with Koharu, but not before he could finish with; "By the way, would you like to... read together, sometime?" Y/n turned around fully, her face red as she looked at him wide-eyed. "U-Uh... sure. I'd like that."

With that, Jotaro left. Y/n stood in place, she could hear her heart thumping in her ears, only to be interrupted by Koharu. "I told you he likes you~" "Sh-shush."

Koharu was meant to be a side character, now I wanna make her into an OC
