Blaming him is easiest
Blaming him for everything
For the pain
For the memories
For the panic attacks
For everything

But when I think about it
She's helped him
She's also helped us though
Keeping him from going to far
I just wish we could all agree on the definition of to far

She hurt me too though
Mostly from the yelling
I knew a bunch of swear words before I was 6
I just knew not to use them or he'd fly off the rail

She's better than him in many ways
But they're both to blame for fucking up my childhood
For fucking me up

But it's easier if I pretend that one of my parents are safe
