The Man was around a lot last year
He'd appear when I was having a panic attack
Not all the time
But very often
8 times out of 10
He was always dressed nice
Like after he was done terrorizing me
He'd be heading to a corporate meeting
The Man was not friendly
Though he likes to pretend he is
At the start
But then he'd get awful
Breathing down the back of my neck
Leaning into me
Talking loudly
Crashing things
Yelling when I asked him to be quiet
The usual asshole stuff
He's not nice
He'd only make things worse
But he hasn't been around as much recently
He's terrifying
I hope I never see him again
