This had to be the cruelest joke in my life. It had to be... Surely if I don't die in battle I'll die from insanity.

I was from district 6... So was Bob... But he ended up dropping dead in a matter of hours thanks to another district .

I'll admit, I may be 17 but I'm scared.

"I used to bite my tongue and hold my breath

I walked a bit more until I heard the sound of footsteps. I froze as a kid of 14 years of age appeared in fright. She trembled and raised her weapon, a long stick.

I wonder what happened to her other weapons.

If I didn't kill her, she would give my position away. I did the only sensible thing: punched her and beat the crap out of her.

I felt horrible.

I must have passed about a dozen and a half dead bodies... Most of which were killed by me.

I'm probably the strongest fighter yet I feel the most regret.

That when I heard a yell and a body crumple to the floor. Quickly I ran toward the sound, my dagger at hand.

It was a boy about a year or so older, looking at another boy that resembled him and a girl with red hair.

"Woah!" I called.

"I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire

The guy jumped in surprise and threw his weapon aside. "Kill me!" He begged. I took a step back.

"Why?" I asked.

"That girl killed my brother." He exclaimed. I looked at the two dead figures.

"Now I'm floating like a butterfly
Stinging like a bee I earned my stripes
I went from zero, to my own hero"

"There aren't many of us left, fight for him. Who are you anyways?."

"I'm Tadashi."

"(Y/n)."

"You mean the girl who has been killing practically everyone?!"

"I guess." I shrugged.

"So... Wanna team?" I asked.

"We aren't meant to."

"And we aren't meant to be a form of entertainment." Tadashi went silent.

"For my brother."

Ro-oar, ro-oar, ro-oar, ro-oar, ro-oar"

"Well what are you waiting for? Let's win this! FOR YOUR BROTHER!" I grinned, Tadashi nodding.
