Y/N POV
I slipped on my vans and stood up straight as I examined myself in the mirror.
"Honey, is Jacob picking you up now for your date tonight?." Mom yelled from downstairs. I rolled my eyes. This wasn't a date, it was a hang out.
I liked Jacob a lot, but he basically friend-zoned me. He told me I wasn't his type of girl, he made it seem like girls were objects to him, I didn't want that in a guy, it was the only flaw he had.
*doorbell*
I fixed my hair and examined my attempted makeup look I did for tonight , it was a certified fail.
Doorbell kept ringing. I groaned.
"Y/N?! Get the door, I'm in the backyard picking out weeds to fix the garden." Mom yelled, I zoomed down the stairs, Surely it couldn't have been Jacob, he's hardly on time and it's a little early anyway.
My door swung open and I saw Tyler, he had pizza. We've gone to the same school since we were really young so I've known him for a while, plus, Tyler's parents know my parents. Our dads work together.
"Hey Ty, I don't think we ordered Pizza- Your Mom did, she bought Hawaiian and your favourite, pepperoni." Tyler replied and smiled, I grinned and held the pizza's as he handed them over.
Tyler POV
I've always enjoyed her smile. It was a pleasure every time Y/N's mom ordered Pizza or when Y/N ordered pizza. I have the biggest crush on her, I'm scared if I tell her she'd just ignore me completely.
"Tyler!! It's so good to see you honey." Y/N's Mom spoke as she walked over, I smiled and greeted her.
"Here's the money Tyler, how's your mom? Why don't you invite your parents over our house tonight? We'll have a good dinner." Y/N's Mom asked, I nodded in agreement and examined as Y/N looked down at her phone.
I gulped. Y/N looked so pretty, I placed my hands in my pockets. Y/N sighed and rolled her eyes as she looked up from her phone.
"Honey whats wrong- Jacob cancelled on me, he was suppose to take me out to the town carnival tonight." Y/N mumbled.
Y/N's Mom turned her head and gave me a look, it's like she knew I liked her daughter. Well, as kids, they always teased us about how we should have been boyfriend and girlfriend.
I got the memo and Mrs.Y/L/N walked away with the pizza's.
Y/N stood there and she still looked so beautiful even though she was disappointed.
"Y/N?" I whispered, she looked up at me and raised her brows with a cute smirk.
I nervously brushed my fingers through my curly hair,
"I-I, if you want, I can take you to the carnival tonight? Maybe? After my shift. Cause I deliver pizza's." I mumbled nervous. Wow Tyler, smooth, she knows you deliver pizza you freaking idiot.
Y/N giggled and bit her lip.
"I know you deliver pizza's. And, sure, I'd love to go with you Ty." She replied, I felt my heart jump, also butterflies, also nervous gas.
I blinked and snapped out of my thoughts.
"Ok, grool. I mean, I was meant to say cool but I added great. I'll pick you up at 5:45?" I mentioned, Y/N nodded in agreement and continued to smile.
"Grool Tyler, I'll see you then." She replied, she looked down and smiled closing the door behind her.
Once her door closed I smiled and started clapping excitedly.
