Quinn was standing outside waiting for a cab when Finn came outside.

Quinn took a deep breath as Finn walked over to her.

"Hey." Finn said softly. "You okay?"

Quinn nodded. "I'm fine."

"No you're not." Finn noted.

Quinn shrugged. "It's just Puck being Puck."

Finn shook his head. "He's just being an ass."

Quinn looked at Finn.

"I know it's not an excuse, but Puck was in Lima because of his dad." Finn informed Quinn.

"Why would he go to see his dad?" Quinn wondered.

"Why don't you come back inside?" Finn suggested. "I'm sure Artie and Santana are yelling at Puck right now, and-"

"I wanna go home." Quinn decided.

Finn furrowed his eyebrow.

"I'm just tired." Quinn said.

"Let me take you home." Finn offered.

Quinn shook her head. "I'm fine."

"Please." Finn said.

Quinn sighed. She wanted to be alone, but she didn't want to push Finn away. He was good to her.

Finn caught a cab, and he and Quinn got in it. They headed to Quinn's apartment.

"Puck means well." Finn said. "In his own way. He just doesn't think sometimes."

"I just wish he wouldn't..." Quinn trailed off.

"Be such a jerk?" Finn guessed.

Quinn shrugged.

"I know." Finn said. "But maybe you were right, you know? Maybe you guys just need to stay away from each other for a while."

"You should go." Quinn advised Finn. "I'll sort things out with Puck another time."
