Quinn took a deep breath and wiped her eyes as she knocked on Sam's door.

Sam opened the door and smiled slightly. "Hey, Quinn. Uh, come inside."

Quinn walked in and put her bag down. "I'm sorry for showing up like this. I told Puck I was going to Rachel's."

"Make yourself comfortable." Sam told Quinn as he locked the apartment door. "We'll sit down and talk."

Quinn looked at Sam. "Actually, if it's okay with you, I just wanna go to bed."

"Oh, sure." Sam nodded. "You can take my bed. I'll sleep out here."

Quinn shook her head as she put her bag down and sat on the couch. "I'll sleep here."

"Are you going to brunch tomorrow?" Sam wondered.

"I think so." Quinn said.

"Cool." Sam responded. "I'll grab you some pillows and blankets."

Quinn dug through her bag for her phone. "I'm gonna text Rachel."

When Sam walked away, Quinn texted Rachel.

If Puck asks, I'm at your place

Only if he asks

where are you and what are you doing?

I'm at Sam's

I'm not doing anything. I just needed a break

Everything okay?

Not really but we can talk another time

We'll have a girls' night soon

with Santana & Britt too

Sounds great! You're coming to brunch tomorrow, right?

Quinn put her phone away as Sam returned.

"Here you go." Sam said as he handed Quinn pillows and blankets. "If you need anything else, come wake me up."

Quinn nodded. "I'll be fine. Thank you, Sam."

"Goodnight." Sam grinned.

"Night." Quinn echoed.
