On Monday morning, Quinn and Puck picked up Beth. They stopped for bagels and went to the train station to go to Lima.

"Mommy's letting me skip school all week." Beth said excitedly as the trio sat down on the train together. "I hate school."

Quinn smiled at Puck.

"School's not so bad, Beth." Puck said. "Plus, you're smart just like Mommy Quinn."

"Yeah." Beth shrugged. "How long is the train ride?"

"It's not that long." Quinn replied. "Why don't you try to sleep?"

Beth nodded and climbed onto Quinn's lap.

When they got to Lima, Jake and Sarah picked them up from the train station.

The five headed back to the Puckerman house.

"Daddy."

"Yeah, Beth?" Puck asked as he picked her up out of the car.

"I'm hungry." Beth said.

Puck laughed lightly. "We'll get you food when we go inside."

"I'll take those." Jake told Quinn as he grabbed their bags. "Since Puck's a cripple."

Quinn shook her head. "Thanks."

"Yeah, what did you do, Noah?" Sarah wondered.

"I got hurt at work." Puck responded. "I'm fine."

"Nice sling." Sarah teased.

"He's sensitive about that." Quinn softly warned Sarah.

Sarah raised her eyebrow and looked at her brother. "Let's go inside. Mom's gonna be really excited to see Beth. And you."

"Thanks, Sarah." Puck said as he led everyone inside.

"Mom, we're back!" Sarah called.

Ruth entered the room and greeted them with hugs.

"It's so good to see you three." Ruth smiled. "I'm so glad you're here this week. For my baby boy's birthday."

"Mom." Puck whined.

"What'd you do to your arm?" Ruth wondered, looking at the sling.

"Oh, that? That's nothing." Puck answered. "I broke my pinky and my wrist."

"Noah." Ruth scolded. "I told you to be careful."

"I was. I'm fine." Puck promised. "Say hi to Quinn and Beth."

"You look great, Quinn. How are you?" Ruth asked as she took Beth from Puck.

"I'm good." Quinn nodded. "How are you?"

"Quinn just finished shooting a Calvin Klein cologne/perfume commercial." Puck stated proudly.

"You did?" Sarah asked. "That's so cool."

"Yeah, Sam and I were both in it." Quinn answered. "It'll be released in the fall, I think."

"Awesome." Sarah smiled. "Congratulations."

"Thank you." Quinn smiled back.

"And how are you, Beth?" Ruth asked the young blonde.

"I'm hungry." Beth responded.

Everyone laughed.

"Let's go get you some food." Ruth decided as she took Beth into the kitchen.

"I'm gonna bring our bags downstairs." Quinn told Puck.

Quinn went downstairs with the bags and put them down. She sat down on the bed and waited for Puck.

Puck came downstairs a few minutes later. "Dinner's just about ready."

Quinn nodded. "Okay."

"I was thinking that tomorrow we'll take Beth to see your mom." Puck added as he sat down.

"Yeah, I think she'd like that." Quinn said with a small smile. "And Wednesday is your birthday."

"I can't wait to see what you got me." Puck joked.

"You're gonna be disappointed." Quinn warned Puck. "I told you that."

"Well, I don't need presents." Puck told Quinn. "I'm gonna be with my family."

"And me." Quinn reminded Puck.

"You're family, Quinn." Puck stated. "You've always been family."

Quinn grinned as she kissed Puck.

"I love you." Puck said when they parted. "Let's go eat dinner."
