5. Because, you weren't prepared

" He's all over the globe. Robotics labs, weapons facilities, jet propulsion labs, reports of a metal man, or men, coming in and emptying the place." Maria said looking at different articles. 

" Fatalities?" Steve asked. 

" Only when engaged. Mostly guys left in a fugue state going on about old memories, worst fears, and something too fast to see." Maria explained. 

" The Maximoff twins." I told her. 

" Well, that makes sense he'd go to them, they have someone in common." Steve said.

But Maria had already found something " Not anymore." She handed us her tablet showing a photo of Strucker's dead body with the word PEACE written in blood on the wall next to him. 

While Steve got Clint I got my dad to the tablet. " What's this?" He asked looking at the picture. 

" A message. Ultron killed Strucker." I told him and Clint.

" And he did a Banksy at the crime scene, just for us." dad said sarcasstically. 

I raised an eyebrow " You just insulted Banksy really bad dad." 

" If I'd actually knew who he was, maybe I would care." He joked, making me roll my eyes. 

While he smiled at me Nat was asking the good questions. " This is a smokescreen. Why send a message when you've just given a speech?" 

" Strucker knew something that Ultron wanted us to miss." Steve said.

" Yeah, I bet he... " She looked at the computer monitor " Yep. Everything we had on Strucker has been erased." 

" Not everything." dad said. I knew what he meant and it was aweful.

We got all the boxes out of the storage room and started looking for Strucker's files.

" This is like looking for a needle in a haistack." I said after looking through his files.

" Known associates. Well, Strucker had a lot of friends." Steve realised. 

"  Well, these people are all horrible." Bruce commented. 

" Wait. I know that guy. From back in the day." Dad said when he saw a picture of a man " He operates off the African coast, black market arms." He got judging looks " There are conventions, alright? You meet people, I didn't sell him anything. He was talking about finding something new, a game changer, it was all very 'Ahab.'"

I looked at the picture. " Ulysses Klaue. Ugly name for an ugly dude." I joked. 

" This." Thor said pointing at something on his neck. I decided to look at it on the screen Bruce had opened up.

" Uh, it's a tattoo. I don't think he had it..." Dad tried to remember if he had seen it.

" No, those aren't tattoos, this is a brand." Thor stated. 

Bruce looked it up " Oh, yeah. It's a word in an African dialect meaning thief, in a much less friendly way."

" What dialect?" Steve asked him.

" Wakanada...? Wa...Wa.." Bruce failed to pronounce the name. 

I looked at the screen and tried as well " Wakana...Wanaka...no I got it now, WAKANDA."

" If this guy got out of Wakanda with some of their trade goods..." dad didn't finish his sentence. Did he mean Vibranium? 

" I thought your father said he got the last of it?" Steve asked dad. Grandad did tell him that.
