The alpha was taken aback by the words that Soobin had spoken,"W-What Soobin I'm not going to hurt you..."
"P-please." The omega started sobbing. Soobin pressed his palms to his face and tried to push himself against the wall and as far away from the alpha as possible. He brought his knees to his chest as a defensive tactic.
"Please.. talk to me Soobin." Yeonjun spoke softly, his heart breaking at the sight of the in this state.
"I d-don't *hic* want you to *hic* m-mark m-me!" He bawled trying to steady his breathing, but finding it difficult to do.
"I-I'm not going to mark you.. hey.. calm down." Yeonjun's pheromones shifted to reflect the amount of care he was feeling for the omega.
The omega's sobbing quieted and he tried to breathe. Soobin hiccupped as he wiped his eyes but still couldn't look at the alpha.
He knew if he did he would be reminded of his nightmare.
"Soobin please." The alpha begged. His voice cracking as he sat on the ground in front of the omega and kept a good four feet in between the two of them.
The omega looked up at Yeonjun slowly and whimpered. "Baby.. I'm not going to mark you.. I don't do things without consent."
Yeonjun wanted to reach a hand out to hold the male but he knew he would scare the boy away.
"Why would I do that? What's going on? I-I know we still need to develop our relationship.. but I want you to let me in. Talk to me please Soobin.. I want to know what's wrong and be here for you."
Soobin sniffled a few more times and watched as Yeonjun crawled towards him on the floor and stopped in front of the omega.
The alpha opened his arms and Soobin crawled into his embrace. The two boys remained on the floor basking in the warmth of the other.
"Do you want me to scent you Soobin?" Yeonjun asked, pulling away and whispering to the boy gently.
The omega nodded slowly. Scenting is something that can calm any omega if done correctly by any alpha, beta or even another omega.
"Soobin.. I'll have to be close to your neck.."
Soobin stilled but nodded anyways, baring his neck slowly and letting the alpha see his submission.
The alpha blushed at how the omega showed such a vulnerable part of himself before leaning in to lick at Soobin's neck gently.
Yeonjun's tongue gently caressed Soobin's neck, lapping at the soft milky skin. Yeonjun rubbed his nose against Soobin's neck, he moved his hands to the back of Soobin's thighs and brought the omega into his lap.
At the same time, Yeonjun ran a hand up and down the expanse of Soobin's back and the omega stopped crying entirely. He snuggled himself in Yeonjun's arms and found himself no longer thinking about his nightmare.
The alpha looked down at the omega. "Do you feel a bit better now?"
Soobin nodded slowly and looked up at the alpha who had just helped him out a of an anxiety attack.
The alpha brought a sleeve covered hand to Soobin's face and wiped away the traces of tears on his cheeks.
"I-I don't know what made you feel like you should be scared of me, but I want to help you figure it out." Yeonjun started running his fingers through Soobin's hair and giving him comforting head massages. "When I said I wanted to date you, that meant I want be there for everything that happens. I want to be here for you. And I know it seems fast but I.. I've actually been watching you since you first came here."
Soobin looked up at him in surprise
"I just didn't know how you were making me feel the way I was feeling, and I was mean for no reason. I'm sorry. You were just in my head so much.. I couldn't even have any hook-ups with the other omegas.. I thought if I pushed you away you would've left but.. here we are.. and I don't dislike it.."
Soobin remained silent as he processed everything Yeonjun had said.
"Y-You don't have to say anything!" Yeonjun added quickly,"I.. I just wanted to be honest. Especially if we're starting a relationship."
Soobin nodded and buried his face into Yeonjun's sweater and Yeonjun's heart melted.
"Soobin you still need to eat before your next class.. I'll go with you, we can eat in the cafeteria just for today."
Soobin nodded and stood up, about to grab the door handle when Yeonjun stopped him.
"Wait." Yeonjun pulled away and took off his sweater.
He walked closer to Soobin and put it on over his head. Sure it was big on him, but the scent made the sweater feel even more comforting for some odd reason.
"Thank you, Yeonjun." Soobin whispered causing Yeonjun to smile softly.
"Of course." He grabbed Soobin's hand and walked them to lunch.
