-arena, eight am practice
-the next day

Today was another practice. We had a game tomorrow, I don't remember who against because honestly, I didn't pay much attention, but we were tied with Iceland anyways, and no doubt, we were going to win tomorrow.

I sat at my locker beside Adam. I was already ready, but I was in the middle of posting a picture of Adam and I on Instagram. I hit done before locking my phone and handing it to Adam.

"There ya go," I cheerfully said. He looked at me confused, but took my phone anyways, "in case you wanna play that hockey game while your phone is charging."

He started to smile. He chuckled, shoving my phone into his jacket pocket. I stood up from the stool and grabbed ahold of his hand, dragging him with me to the ice.

"Jeez, Frosty, slow down!" He yelled as I dragged him down the hall. I couldn't help but laugh.

Walking back to the locker room while everyone was practicing, to get some extra tape for Coach, I felt Fosters phone buzzing in my pocket like crazy.

Scared that it was one of her friends trying to get ahold of her, I pulled it out and checked it for her. It was only Instagram notifications and a message from... Ryan? What'd he want?

I couldn't see what the message had said. She had it in some setting that you can only see it when the phone is unlocked. I knew her password, but that's be and invasion of privacy, wouldn't it?

I sighed. I shoved her phone back into my pocket, grabbing an extra roll of tape from the table and heading back out to the ice.

I couldn't help but wonder what Ryan wanted though. She didn't want to talk to him after what happened, and I knew that. Why was he bothering her now?

Rain hit hard against the roof of the bus as we made our way back to the dorms. I sat beside Adam and Ken, watching the pouring rain fall from the sky outside.

Jill had hit, and this was only the start. I knew that the next morning things were going to be damaged, and our game would most likely be canceled and rescheduled for hopefully the following day or week at least.

Feel my phone vibrate in my pocket, I pull it out full of annoyance. It's been doing that all day according to Adam and I didn't know why.

That's when I remembered the picture I posted. I smiled when I saw it.
