Moon's POV
I was lonely.
Ember had left to start a new nation.
Rain was mentally unstable.
Stella was dead.
And all my other friends... I wasn't as close to them as I was to those three.
Why did they leave me?
I wanted to go back to the good old days.
Why can't we?
I walked up to Rain, despite his questionable sanity, he was the only one I had to talk to.
"Hey there," I said.
"Hey," he replied.
"How are you feeling?" I asked.
"I want Ember dead," Rain told me.
"Why?" I asked. "I know that my boyfriend's done stupid things in the past. But why kill him?"
"He betrayed us by leaving us!" Rain snapped.
"You drove him away," I reminded him.
"I don't care!" Rain yelled. "I've lost her, I've lost Stella. And it's all because of Ember! Ember's just been wandering around and getting himself in situations that we have to bail him out of! Does he really expect us to be on his side?! Ember... is the true villain of the server.
I froze. "Rain, y-you can't be serious."
"I AM SERIOUS!" Rain shouted. "WE'D ALL BE BETTER OFF WITH HIM DEAD!"
"Rain, look at me," I said, firmly, forcing the Dragon Prince to stare at my eyes. "Ember is a good person, he wouldn't attack us. Besides the peace treaty..."
That's as far as I got when the one of the walls blew up.
