Rain's POV
SHE DIDN'T?!
"Stella?" I gasped. "What are you saying?!"
"You heard me," Stella said calmly.
"STELLA!" I shouted, suddenly desperate. "YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME! Y-YOU CAN'T!"
"You want me to think EMOTIONALLY!" Stella yelled. "YOU'RE TRYING TO MAKE ME THINK IRRATIONALLY! I NEED TO THINK LOGICALLY, AND THIS IS THE MOST LOGICAL CHOICE! YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO'S A MEMBER OF THE END!"
"I'M THE LAST ENDER WATCHER!" I reminded her. "I have the authority to-"
Stella slammed her hands onto the table. "There you go with your I'm the Last Ender Watcher shit!" She said. "Because of that title, you've acted like you're the leader of the End! This is enough, OKAY?! You've always undermined my authority!" She began to stammer. "Y-you've never had the best interests for the End! You've only had the best interests for yourself! You're not the only person who's a member of the End, but you don't give a shit! And you have made that more apparent than EVER before today!"
"Stella," I said. "We can't sacrifice our relationship because of this!"
Stella shook her head.
"This isn't the best for the End..." she said. "This isn't the right choice for either of us."
"Are you saying that I don't matter?" I asked.
"You do matter to me," she told me. "But right now... I can't.... our relationship..."
"OUR RELATIONSHIP MEANS EVERYTHING, STELLA!" I yelled.
"OUR RELATIONSHIP... IT DOESN'T MATTER, RAIN!" Stella shouted. "HOW COULD YOU NOT SEE THAT?! It don't matter!"
"Wh- why?" I asked. "What...? W-well if... If it don't matter, Stella... If our relationship doesn't matter... If you have no attachment to it... If you don't- then why? Why does your people matter... but our relationship suddenly doesn't?"
Silence.
I knew I had asked an armor-piercing question.
"Null?" Razer said coldly. "Please escort Rain from the room."
Null grabbed me, and began to drag me away.
"Stella," I heard Razer say. "Rain's been acting like we're evil... so I want to know... a-are we the bad guys?"
Silence.
"If he thinks that," Stella replied. "Let him think that."
Then Null shoved me through the portal.
When I re entered into the Overworld, I began to let out a string of cuss words.
"Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit!"
