Chapter 31: A Choice

Stella's POV

Razer had finally mastered the Necromancer's Book.

He was quite pleased with himself.

"I... I'm a god!" He had said in disbelief.

I was happy for him, I really was.

I thought of Rain.

I was unreasonable with him, getting angry is just a flaw he has.

I thought of Devon.

I'm no better than Devon, I realized. 

I wasn't sure if I wanted to return back to the Overworld.

"You can go back," Razer had said. "I can revive you."

"Maybe," was all that I said.

I wanted to go back, but at the same time, I was worried about what would happen.

I was trying to think of the possible outcomes.

I can allow Rain to go back to the End, but if I come back, Ember's nation... they're not doing the greatest... I wouldn't want them to get harmed...

I sighed. I had a choice to make.

But maybe... just maybe I can help without getting too involved.
