Old Title: The Importance of Friends

Stella's POV

I recall a day... before our friends disappeared.

It was just the six of us.

The original Keyblade Heroes.

"Actually," Razer said when Moon brought this up. "Technically Meeps and I joined later so... it's more like the original four."

"The Core Four!" Ember interrupted, using a nickname that Ciara had coined for the four of us.

"Um, not really," Rain said. "We didn't become a group until the two of you joined us."

"But you were traveling in a group, remember?" Meeps reminded him.

"Not by choice!" He yelled, before calming down. "Sorry, but you did make a lot of contact with us back then that you seem like part of the original heroes."

"Amen to that!" I said, as we all toasted each other. Except for Meeps who sulkily looked at our drinks with envy.

Because Rain was the only one who was twenty-one, he was the only one with an alcoholic beverage.

Not that it mattered since he started drinking after meeting Ciara back when she was nineteen and Rain was just almost twenty years old.

Moon told us that when she had a drink with Sheila, she got extremely drunk, which meant that she had to have a weak toleration for alcohol.

"Or," Meeps said. "You shouldn't have done a drinking game with Sheila at our sleepover."

"How come I wasn't invited?!" I asked.

"You got a fever," Meeps replied. "Besides, it was probably a good thing you didn't come. It was a disaster. I mean when the host has to use How To Have A Sleepover For Dummies, you know it's going to be bad."

"IT WAS MY FIRST TIME!"

The rest of us laughed at this statement.

Ember, who was just staring at his custom pineapple milkshake.

He... has a weird taste of what he likes to eat...

"Ember? Are you alright?" I asked.

"Did you eat one of Sheila's terrible recipes?" Rain asked. "Last time I ate one I was hallucinating about a turtle that chased me all day throwing hammers!"

Ember sighed, before uncharastically getting serious.

No, that's not fair. Ember is serious when he wants to be, he just prefers to be light hearted for the sake of others and because that's how he copes with stress.

But this... was different.

"Have you... ever thought about your family? And your childhood?" Ember asked. "I mean, I just learned I was the second born of a royal family of a fire dimension that got destroyed, and my older sister is still alive and everything... it's so... strange."

All of us went silent at that.

"I mean... I do think of them," Razer said. "My adoptive family that is. Don't know anyone else who shares Herobrine's blood."

"Imagine if you had a sister in another dimension," I said, grinning.

Razer laughed a little. "Wouldn't that be interesting."
