Ember's POV
It happened so suddenly.
The explosion went off.
Andrew's body flew into the air, before crashing onto the ground, almost unrecognizable to the eye.
We stared at the scene with horror written on our faces.
Was this Andrew's plan?
I'm sorry Andrew, I caused this.
Please forgive me.
"Holy shit," somebody said, and I turned around to see Damian, Nina, Jun, Bryce and Hannah gaping with shock.
"What did we just walk into?" Nina asked.
"Oh hello," Alex said awkwardly. "We deeply apologize for the unexpected event."
"I see," Jun replied, nodding.
"Anyways, welcome!" Patrick said, grinning.
"Thank you," Bryce replied.
Hannah looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings.
Of course! She hasn't met any of these people before.
"Who are you?" Sheila asked her.
"I'm Hannah," the girl said. "I'm a dyrad."
"A dyrad?" Sheila replied. "Cool! My adoptive sister is a nymph, so I'm sure you two will get along."
Hannah beamed at the thought.
I listened as everyone began to chat with each other.
"I can use my strings," Moon offered, as luminous blue threads shot out of her hand.
"Okay Spider Woman," Alex said.
"Yeah, I forgot I could do this," she admitted, causing Sheila to facepalm.
I looked around, because something felt off.
"Wait," I said. "Where's Ash?"
I looked at each of their faces, shocked and full of sympathy.
"Where's my sister?"
