Ember's POV

Rain and I ran after Sheila as we rushed to Notch knows where.

Why would they be back? Is something happening in the Underworld? Do they need help with something?

After about twenty minutes of running, we finally arrived at the general area. By then, the sun had begun to set.

I was a little concerned when I saw where we were. A giant cliff that loomed over the horizon. Was this supposed to be a betrayal?

"Finally! About time you made it!" Alex exclaimed as the girls chuckled.

Wait.

"Stella?" I asked. "How did you get here?"

"Moon helped me," the blind witch replied. "I knew if our friends wanted to talk to us, I should come as well."

"I see," I said, as the stupid nineteen year old me from the past began to wonder if MoonXStella was going to become a ship or not.

Dear Notch, please don't let that happen.

"Where's the others?" Sheila asked.

"They should be coming soon," Moon said, as she pointed to four shadows walking up.

Four?

Just then, our four friends came into view, which included...

"MEEPS!" Moon squealed, tackling and hugging the red panda AI.

"Hello Moon," she said. "Oof, get off of me, please..."

Moon turned beet red as she quickly hopped off of Meeps.

"You're back!" I said. "For the umpteenth time!"

Meeps laughed. "Yeah, luckily Andrew used the Motherbox to bring me back, so now, if something tragic happens to me... I'll respawn in the Motherbox to heal."

"That makes... sense for some reason," Rain said, looking very confused.

"So, why did you want to talk to us?" Stella asked, cutting right to the chase.

The three of the Undead Council looked at Razer, who sighed as he walked towards us.

Honestly, it was a little weird to see them look at Razer, expectantly. He was the youngest out of all of us males and the shortest. If we went by age when it came to roles, he would only be Meeps' superior.

In fact, it looked like Meeps and Razer were now the same height, much to my surprise.

Still, he lifted his head up, trying to look confident.

"Lately, our friends and foes have returned from the dead," he said.

We all nodded, acknowledging this fact that we all knew.

"Because of our alliances and friendship," Razer continued. "I chose to keep the Doors of Death open so we could visit each other whenever we wanted."

The Doors of Death? I thought. Sounds like something from a book.

Razer looked down. "However, this has come with some great consequences," he told us. "The reason why enemies like Naeus have returned is because the gates to the Overworld have been left open."

"This isn't concrete evidence, but it's the next best thing." Razer said.

"So, concrete powder evidence?" I joked, and everyone smiled for a moment.

I had broken the tension in the air, even though it was just for a moment.

"You're our friends," Razer told us. "Nothing can ever change that."

Razer began to choke up a bit, although he tried to hide it. "Sorry," he whispered.

Meeps towards where Razer was and stood next to him. "Although it annoyed me," she admitted. "I'm glad you all took me under your wings and took care of me. If you hadn't, I wouldn't have lasted out on my own for long. It has been an honor to have fought with all of you."

Kyle walked up next. "There were times where we fought each other," the young man said. "There were times where we were each other's enemies. But even then, we still forgave each other. We were given second chances... because we all cared for each other even when we thought we hated each other."

Kyle walked over to Alex and then, to our surprise, embraced him. "I'm sorry," he said. "I've been an asshole lately."

Alex grinned. "You're always an asshole because I'm always an asshole," he said. "But I'm sorry as well."

The two of them fist bumped, laughing before Kyle walked back to the Undead Council.

Next was Andrew. "I wasn't there at the beginning," he said. "But even then, I was welcomed with open arms. You all took care of my sister while I was gone. I want to thank you all for that. So, thank you."

Razer finally looked back up at us. "You guys accepted me for who I am," he said. "Not everybody has done this for me. You didn't care that I was bisexual or that I was Herobrine's descendent. Even when I went on a murdering rampage, you all still cared about me. Our friendship wasn't out of fear... we were bonded together because of something even greater."

There was something up, because I know these four, and this was not how they usually acted.

I mean no offense, but they can be pretty emo at times.

And by the looks the rest of us were giving them, we all could mutually agree on this.

"Razer," Moon said. "What are you guys... what are you all saying?"

"This is going to be the last war we're going to fight with you." He answered.

"What?" Sheila asked.

"What do you mean?" Rain said at the same time.

"Sometimes for our friends, we have to make sacrifices," Razer replied. "And as a whole, the Undead Council has reached a decision."

Razer took a deep breath, his breathing was shaky and I could tell that this was going to hurt to say.

"After this war has ended," the entire Undead Council said together. "The Gates to the Underworld will close forever!"
