Chapter 69: Artificial Intelligence

Moon's POV

After what had happened with Meeps, I decided not to drag anybody else into my problems.

The hard thing was admitting that Meeps was gone for good, to both Razer and Andrew.

Surprisingly, all Andrew did was hand me a laptop with a cold expression. 

"Whatever you do," he said. "Don't destroy it."

Yeah, not sure what that was about.

But anyways, everyone, minus Ember, Stella and Andrew were in room together.

"It's about to become a six-way!"

"Alex, no."

Rain rolled his eyes and opened the laptop.

"Let's see what kinda shit Andrew gave us," he said dryly.

"Do you think this is porn related because I got my share of that last time," Kyle said.

Suddenly, Meeps head popped up.

"Hi!"

"Oh my god!" I screamed.

"What the heck is that?!" Sheila asked as Meeps seemed to giggle from the laptop.

"An artificial intelligence," Rain explained. "My theory is that this was the original version of Meeps before she became what she is now... or was."

"Andrew, made a fully functional artificial intelligence into a living breathing thing," Razer said. "We're just accepting this?"

"Yes,"

"Okay,"

"Oh hewo, everyone!" The AI said. "My name is Meeps! I'm happy to meet you!"

"Oh good!" Kyle said in an exaggerated voice. "The language is set to child mode."

"That's going to be the first thing to go," Rain said.

𝚁𝚊𝚒𝚗: 𝙲𝚞𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚌𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚍 𝚜𝚑𝚒𝚝 𝚘𝚞𝚝, 𝚙𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚎.

Meeps looked down at the text.

"Sowwy!" She said, smiling. "Big brother hasn't finished programming me, so this language is the only language I know!"

"Big brother?" Sheila asked.

𝚁𝚊𝚒𝚗: 𝙱𝚒𝚐 𝚋𝚛𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛? 𝙲𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚊𝚐𝚊𝚒𝚗?

"Hai!" The AI said. "That's what my creator asked me to call them! Why do you ask?"

"Let's move on before we hit another problem," Rain said.

"Good idea," I agreed.

Meeps looked around. "By the way," she said. "I don't know this place at all! I just remember being in a different kingdom for a year!"

"Uhhhh," Razer said.

"Okay," I said. "Rain, you're going to need to super careful here. So don't-"

𝚁𝚊𝚒𝚗: 𝚈𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚍𝚘𝚖 𝚋𝚕𝚎𝚠 𝚞𝚙.

"Oh,"

"DAMMIT!" I groaned.

Later that day...

"Okay, so Andrew created Meeps, basically making him her father," Alex said. "Why the fuck does that make more sense than anything else so far?"

𝚁𝚊𝚣𝚎𝚛: 𝙼𝚎𝚎𝚙𝚜, 𝚍𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚔 𝚝𝚘 𝚊𝚗𝚢𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚎𝚕𝚜𝚎.

Notes

Despite the fact that some of the things Meeps said doesn't sound like a child, her voice is much younger as this is the first version of her.

Also, because of technology logic, this version of Meeps only knows Andrew, and nothing else.

She's also going to be more of an outside help, sorta like an improved search engine.
