Lyria's POV

At the age of sixteen, I already had become a Elytra Corps member and the apprentice of Lady Azura.

I wasn't skilled in battle techniques, so Azura usually sent me out for scouting.

After three months of training, I had received the nickname "The Wind Walker".

I think that was one of the best moments of my life.

Whenever Azura couldn't mentor me, mostly due to being a mother now, Hilda took me under her wing.

Anyways today, I heard Patrick banging his head against the wall, which was probably not safe because he would totally get a concussion but then again Pat has a very very thick skull because he has not had any brain damage and OOH! A BUTTERFLY!

Right after Patrick finally stopped hurting his head, I walked towards Lady Azura who was staring at her son (I FORGOT HIS NAME, ALLISTAR? SHIT!).

"AZURA!" I shouted, hugging my mentor tightly.

My mentor looked up, but for some odd reason, while she was smiling, her eyes were puffy and wet.

"Azura?" I whispered. "Are you alright?"

"I miss them,"

"Who?"

"My friends," Azura sighed. "Daryll and Dexter."

I blinked. I had heard those names several times but never bothered to ask who they were. But they were clearly important to Azura.

"Who were they?"

"Daryll was a member of the Frostbourne and one of my closest friends," my mentor told me. "And Dexter... she was my childhood friend and partner."

"Wait, aren't you married?" I asked.

"What?! No! Not like that! Dex and I are just friends, that's all." Azura replied, looking flustered. "Besides she was in the Elytra Corps as well."

She was?

"I haven't seen any of them in such a long time," my mentor added.

I smiled, embracing my mentor even tighter than before. "Don't worry," I whispered. "They're still alive. I'm sure of it."

My mentor smiled at me, although her smile didn't quite reach her eyes.

"I hope so,"
