Kane's POV

Welp, that failed miserably.

That man didn't even want to sell me the horse.

He just kicked me where it hurts the most and rode off.

Man, why can't I get a horse for once. Is it really that hard?

"WILL SOMEBODY JUST SELL ME A HORSE FOR ONCE?" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

"Kane," Ciara said. "Stop screaming, I nearly choked on my drink."

"You shouldn't be drinking on a scouting trip," I reminded her. "It's against the rules."

All that did was cause Ciara to pour herself another glass.

"Screw the Rules," she said. "I Have Money!"

"Have... you paid your taxes?" I asked.

"TAXES?!"

"I'll take that as a no," I said.

"You are terrible at scouting," someone said. "Probably the worst scouts I have ever seen."

The two of us looked over to see a short girl looking at us. She was a brunette with serious purple eyes, with black clothing, and a purple wristband. She had black and purple headphones and black netherkin horns.

"Who are you?" Ciara asked her, pulling out her karambits.

"Relax Ciara," the girl said, pulling out a notebook. "I'm not here to attack you."

"Nah, you seem kinda sus," CIara replied.

The girl wasn't amused, and suddenly I felt threatened.

I heard footsteps and I turned to see Rain and Stella, running towards us.

"Well," I said. "Maybe you can win a 2V1... but what about a 4V1?"

Finally, Rain and Stella caught up to us.

"Sorry," Stella apologized. "We went the wrong way... who is that?"

"Someone who's causing us problems," Ciara answered. "Rain, kick her ass for us will you?"

Rain grinned. "With pleasure," he replied, his Ender eye appearing as he pulled out the Ender Greatsword and leapt into the air.

The girl had no reaction, she just pulled out a pen... a purple one with a glowing purple gem on top, and began to write in her notebook.

Then, she turned around and tapped the paper with the glowing gem.

Then at the last second, she raised her fist up, as if to defend herself from Rain's weapon.

Idiot, her fist isn't going to protect her from that.

The Ender Greatsword made contact with her fist... and shattered as if it was made out of fragile glass.

All of us gasped, as we stared at Rain's broken sword.

"I'm terrible at fighting," the girl said. "So I use other methods to defend myself."

She wrote something in her notebook with that special pen and tapped whatever she wrote with the tip of the pen.

Suddenly, Rain's sword glowed for a moment, and when the light faded, the Ender Greatsword looked as good as new.

"Who... are you?" Rain asked.

"You can call me Misaki, Arlon..." the girl said while Rain... for some reason tensed up. "And trust me... I can help you all out... or be the one person who can take you out without laying a single hand on you."
