Tsuki's POV

I wonder if Crystal is okay.

Why did Herobrine even want me to go out scouting?

Why couldn't he send someone else?

Ever since I met Crystal, I realized that our universes were much more advanced than what I had originally believed.

I wondered if there was a way if we could get to their world.

We have the Relics... those could work.

I was getting focused on this strange new discovery, however.

A bit too focused.

Within minutes, I had been knocked onto the ground, getting a good amount of gravel up my mouth.

"Well, this one was easier to catch," a deep voice said, which I classified as the one who was breathing down my neck.

"I told you she was easy to catch," a boastal voice said. This voice was familiar, however I was unable to figure out why.

"Now what?" A much older voice asked. "The Overseer wants to see her alive."

"Alive?" The arrogant man said. "We should kill her right now."

"We can't kill her," a female voice said. "Not unless you're planning to have our heads cut off."

"You're not the one in charge here, Hella," the familiar voice snapped. "Besides, it'll make that prophecy demon so angry she'll come right to us."

Prophecy demon?

"Don't call Stella that!" I shouted, levitating the being who was on top of me and threw him away. "You don't even know her!"

Laughter filled my ears.

"Oh, but I do know her, Tsuki!" The boastful voice declared.

I staggered back up and stared at the four beings... plus a wither behind them.

(Ignore the weapons)

These four must've been recruited to the Overseer's army, probably sent out to take Stella

These four must've been recruited to the Overseer's army, probably sent out to take Stella.

However one of them... the one with the metal mask around his mouth... looked familiar.

"Don't recognize your old friend, Tsuki?" He asked, before pulling off his mask to reveal a toothy smirk.

Memories flashed through my mind in seconds.

I got my wits back together and refocused.

Azrael.

That... that... filthy... traitor!

"You," I said. "I told you to stay out of my life, you traitor."

Azrael gave me a charming smile, "I guess Fate wanted us to meet again," he replied smoothly.

When we were kids, I had a crush on him.

But now, I knew he was truly a wolf in sheep's clothing.

"Don't twist Fate like that," I snarled. "Fate wouldn't want me to reunite with the person who betrayed his home by bringing the Undead to destroy it!"

"How ironic," Azrael said. "Seeing how you're now one of them."

I looked away.

"You betrayed your home?" The girl asked in disbelief. "Wow, I might be evil, but even I have standards."

"Shut up, Hella!" He shouted, socking her in the face at full force.

I heard a loud crack and for a moment, Hella stood completely still, her neck bent at a funny angle.

Then slowly, she collapsed.

I stared at the young woman for a long time, noting her beautiful features and wondering if she had been forced to do this or if she regretted her decision that lead her to do this.

But it was too late for her.

Breathing... who cares about breathing?

"Scaldor, Kriozhar," Azrael commanded. "Kill her."

The Magma mage leapt up towards me and I yanked out my sword, shouting "Animam Exhaurire!", shooting a giant beam from my sword.

Scaldor's soul was drained and absorbed into my sword.

I shuddered from the feeling of eels crawling through my bones that I always got when I used this spell.

Then I turned around and tried to absorb Kriozhar's soul...

But nothing happened.

"Foolish girl!" Kriozhar said. "I'm part of the Undead! You can't absorb my soul!"

I swallowed hard as Kriozhar brought out a giant axe that could rival the Legendary Dragon Tamer's Ender Greatsword and smashed it into the ground, causing a large shockwave that flung me into the air.

As I was falling, I suddenly felt a searing pain through my right leg, as my arm smashed against the ground.

Gasping in pain, I looked down to see my leg bloody... and were those bones?!

Shit.

Azrael sighed, smiling at me. "Had enough?" He asked.

"...you..."

"-Hm? Hey, speak up. You're too quiet."

"...you," I weakly tightened my fists, "you're... human... garbage..."

"You think your leg hurts?" Azrael sneered. "Imagine having your face ripped off. It'll be so painful, your body won't be able to handle it, you'll just shut down completely. But that doesn't have to be the case, Tsuki. You can come back to the Overseer, you can come back to your family."

"To hell with you and the Overseer!" I snapped.

Azrael sighed. "I wish it didn't come down to this," he said. "Kriozhar, hold her down."

Before I could react, the wither held me onto the ground as Azrael took out some metal rod and shoved it into my eye.

Agonizing pain filled my entire body and in minutes, I had blacked out.

Three days later...

I opened my eyes and nearly screamed.

Why was only half of my mouth working?

I was hurting both physically and mentally.

Why did you come back? I wondered. Why Azrael?

I was drifting off again, pain from all my injuries and betrayals.

"Crystal..." I mumbled as I slowly began slipping out of consciousness. "Please... talk to me..."

And with that, I was drifting off into the warmths of darkness, allowing the dream world consume me for all of eternity.
