Rain's POV
"You moved an egg," I said. "Out of it's natural habitat."
Sheila and Alex exchanged glances with each other, with Kyle facepalming.
Wow, even Ember wouldn't do something that stupid.
"You should put the egg back," Stella told them.
"Come on!" Sheila said. "I want to see the egg hatch!"
"It won't hatch here," I said. "Besides even if it does, who's going to take care of it."
"We will," Alex said.
"Objected!" Stella said. "You'd get the baby dragon killed."
"Why not Kyle?" I asked. "He's the only one of you three with common sense."
Kyle looked frightened. "N-no way," he said. "I am not interested in raising a dragon."
"Alright fine," I said. "But somebody needs to move it."
"I'll move it," Kyle said. "I like it down there anyways."
I nodded. "If the egg hatches," I said. "Tell us."
Kyle nodded. "Alright," he said, picking the egg up and giving Alex and Sheila a nasty look.
"We'll come," Nina said. "I do want to see a dragon hatch."
Sounds fun to me," Jun agreed. "We can take turns watching it. What do you say Kyle?"
Kyle gave a small half smile. "Well... it'd be better than egg sitting all by myself," he said. "Alright, come on you two."
