Chapter 91: Confronting the Nether King

Rain's POV

"You ready?" Kane asked us.

"I am," Ciara replied. "I've been ready for ages."

"Alright," Kane said. "Portal?"

There was an awkward moment of silence as we all turned to look at Stella.

"Oh right," she said, opening her book up.

Stella's eyes turned white as she used her mystical magical thing. The ground shook as a Nether portal appeared from out of the ground.

Kane nodded, approvingly as Ciara and Stella entered the portal.

I grinned. 

Even that green Teletubby speedrunner couldn't build a portal that fast.

Laughing a little, I walked into the portal.

When I entered the Nether, I bumped into Ciara, who shoved me.

The two of them were staring off at the Nether Castle.

"What is it?" I asked, just as Kane entered the Nether as well.

Stella was just staring at the Nether Castle, horror printed on her face.

"Oh god..." Kane whispered, finally noticing.

I peered off into the distance, noticing some purple crystals floating around the castle.

"Holy shit," I said. "He didn't."

"He did," Stella whimpered, taking a step backward.

Naeus already has Herobrine's power along with the Nether Star. Oh god, his body has been forged with Netherite as well. 

I heard a yell as a small gray and red figure swept by me.

"CIARA!" Kane shouted, running after her. "STOP! WE NEED A PLAN! WE DON'T KNOW WHAT'S- ARGH! TEENAGERS!"

"I'M NOT A TEENAGER!" Ciara replied from the distance.

"God why..." I mumbled as Stella and I ran after the two.

Eventually, the two of us managed to catch up, with Kane shouting at Ciara about rushing off and how she was going to cost us this mission and so on.

"Uh guys?" Stella asked. "I'm pretty sure being stealthy means not talking."

We looked over to see Pigmen and wither skeletons looking at us.

"Crap," Kane grumbled.

I pulled out the Ender Greatsword, and leapt into the air, before crashing down, causing a minor earthquake around me.

Meanwhile, Stella summoned some arcane swords and threw them at the Nether mobs, keeping a safe distance away from them.

An Ender Karambit landed in the middle of the battlefield, and a second later, Ciara appeared, swiftly stabbing the Nether Horde.

Meanwhile, Kane was shooting them with a pistol.

Wow Kane.

Minutes later, we finally cleared out the rest of the Nether Horde, leaving the castle to be vulnerable to attack.

"We should've brought horses," Kane commented.

"Kane, nobody cares about your obsession," Ciara said.

"I like horses," Stella offered.

"Of course she does," Ciara said to herself.

"Huh?"

Kane shushed everyone and pointed to the castle.

Ciara chucked an Ender Karambit over the castle wall, disappearing.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" We heard the Nether King scream.

"Language," Stella mumbled, running into battle.

Seconds later, Kane and I joined the fray, attacking Kralos, who skillfully invaded and blocked our attacks.

Meanwhile, Ciara was dueling against Naeus.

Suddenly, Kralos was levitated into the air and thrown against the wall, looking dazed.

"KRALOS!" The Nether King screamed, grabbing Ciara and throwing her away from him, his eyes glowing blue.

I recognized this attack, and I knew the devastating effects that could come.

"STELLA!" I yelled. "PROTECT CIARA!"

Right as Kralos released a thunderbolt, Stella appeared in front of Ciara and created a shield around them.

Thank goodness.

Naeus, seething with frustration sent another bolt of lightning, much stronger than the last. Stella's shield cracked, than shattered as the bolt of lightning struck her in the face.

Stella fell on the ground, her eyes closed.

Naeus took a step forward, as if to attack us, but stopped as he looked over at Kralos. Then, his eyes flashed purple as the End Crystals began to glow, flooding the castle in an immense light.

When my eyes finally readjusted, Naeus and Kralos was gone.

And so were the End Crystals.
