Ember's POV
After discussing our plan, Andrew and I departed from each other.
Our plan was that Andrew would pretend to be loyal to the Terrayite Kingdom, then sabotage them.
It was a good plan... hopefully.
It is Ember... it is.
"Ahhh! Who's talking?!" I asked, nearly jumping out of my skin.
Wow, that's kinda rude. How about a 'hello old friend'?
"What? Wait... Moonlark?!"
Yeah, it's me.
"You're... how?! I thought..." I stammered.
Oh, I'm dead in that series... I just have the power to enter in the other book series.
"Wow, that's amazing," I said in awe.
Thanks! Anyways, I, uh, heard there was a war?
"Yeah," I replied.
The air seemed to get cold for a moment.
Well, I can't lie... I'm not thrilled to hear that but... if that's what you want... I won't stop you.
"It is," I told her. "I want them to respect my Nation."
I understand.
She was saying that and all, but I knew she didn't.
I didn't say anything though... for some reason.
Anyways, I'm going to go... I just have a small warning for you... beware of who you trust.
"What does that mean?" I asked.
But Moonlark was already gone.
Beware of who I trust? Does this mean we have a traitor?
I looked around, suspicion now lingering in my head.
No, I can't think this way of my nation! Not now at least! Figure out who the traitor is... if we have one that is, Moonlark might be trying to trick me for some reason.
But whatever you do... don't let your mistrust blind you.
