Chapter 41: Where There's A Will

Andrew's POV

"Why did you want to help?" Azura asked me (for the fifth time) as we were setting up the End Portal.

"Like I said," I replied. "It's personal,"

Lady Azura didn't say anything.

It is personal... in so many different ways.

I looked over to see that the portal was complete.

We put the Ender Eyes in the portal frame and jumped in.

A few seconds later, we were teleported to the End on an obsidian platform.

Now let's hope that the others arrive here soon.

Azura used her new wingsuit to fly up towards the island while I threw an ender pearl to teleport myself there.

We both stared at the scene, we saw all the corrupted members of the Overseer, except for Pika, who I couldn't see, and Amman, who was tied up.

"Daryll," Azura whispered. "Dexter,"

Then we saw Xephryes with a cunning glint in his visible green eye.

"Well, glad you could join us!" Daryll said.

"Daryll, you're crazy! This isn't you!" Azura yelled.

I saw her reach for her beacon guns, but I stopped her, shaking my head.

"Kat! Anna! Bryce!" I shouted, trying to locate the young ones.

"Over here!" Bryce called back, and I swear that his voice had cracked up a little.

We ran over to check on them, and to my surprise, none of the Overseer Syndicate tried to attack, they just watched with smug expressions.

Oh I'd love to wipe that stupid look off their faces.

When we caught up to them, I checked to see if there was any injuries. 

Bryce had a cut on one of his arms, but it wasn't too serious.

Anna had no wounds, however we could see that tears were streaming down her cheeks and her eyes were red and puffy.

"Where's Kat?" Azura asked.

"Xephryes h-he dropped the R-Relic during the battle," Anna said, sobbing. "Kat... she (hic!) flew down and g-got it before it could fall into the void. B-but then! (hic!) Xephryes... he threw a sword that (hic!) impaled her elytra and then..."

"Shhh," Azura whispered. "It'll be alright..."

"No it won't!" Anna yelled. "She was going to turn eleven next month! I was going to throw her a party!"

I turned to look at Xephryes. "I'd call you a monster," I said. "But that wouldn't be fair to monsters."

Xephryes just laughed. "I killed Tristan and Kimya!" He said, sounding quite proud of myself. "I sent that Ravager that was meant to kill Damian but instead it got Riko instead."

"Riko's dead?" Azura gasped, but X shook his head.

"Unfortunately not," he said. "But she soon will be."

"Not before you're dead," I replied.

Xephryes laughed. "Yeah, how will you fight us! There's only four of you!"

"Oh, like you have more people?" Azura asked.

X smirked and a familiar figure appeared.

It was a young man who sorta looked like Razer.

"Hello Nightmare," X said. 

Nightmare turned to look at us, I couldn't see what his expression was with the mask covering it, but I didn't care.

"Wait, how were you able to find where the Relic was?" Bryce asked.

"Oh that?" Nightmare said. "We had some help."

Suddenly another person appeared with one dark blue eye and one ender eye.

Not Rain though.

"We'll be nice and let you surrender first," the unknown ender person told us.

Come on! Please! I thought.

And as if, my thoughts were heard from realms away, an Ender Eye appeared out of nowhere.

There was a glow before we saw Stella appear.

She looked at the scene, before her eyes landed on the ender person, and she had a look of disappointment on her.

"Hello Lance," she greeted.

"Hello sexy," he replied.

"Shut up, Lance," Stella said with an eyeroll. "I said I wasn't interested."

"Yeah sure," Lance said with a pleased look on his face.

"Has he been trying to flirt with you?" Azura asked.

"Yeah," Stella replied. "Don't tell Rain,"

"Maybe we should so we can watch him go nuclear," Azura joked.

"Where are the others?" I asked Stella.

"They're coming," she replied.

At that moment, we saw Razer teleport in midair, do a sideways spin and land on his feet.

"Okay Mr. Show Off," I heard Stella mumble.

"Hi Andrew," Razer said, lifting the mask up so I could see his face.

"Hey there," I said, my heart skipping a beat.

Next I saw Herobrine and Null teleport here, and then Kyle.

I waved in reply.

"I'll deal with Nightmare," Razer said, drawing his two katanas out.

"Be safe," I said. 

"I'm already dead," he reminded me. "You better be safe."

We both blushed.

"Um, as much as the Razdrew ship is amazing and all... can you wait until after the battle?" Kyle asked.

"Don't worry," Herobrine said. "He's just jealous that he can't confess to his crush."

"WHA- NO! S-SHUT UP!" Kyle yelled his face red.

Razer laughed.

Kyle has a crush on someone? I wonder who it is.

Jokes aside, we had a problem to deal with.

We all turned to face each other.

Four different factions, three that has united with one another for a temporary truce.

Will there be a possible backstabbing? I hoped not.

My side was already at a disadvantage, so we would have to play smart.

We can't contact anyone else to come help now. I thought. This is all or nothing.

Nightmare pulled out two axes. "Me and you," he said to Razer. "One final battle."
