As soon as she walked through the doors of the club, Mina was greeted by all but one of your friends who rushed to her side while the other stayed with you.

"Thank goodness you're here, Mina. We can't get her to stop drinking or convince her to get an uber to get home. She's so drunk."

Mina closed her eyes with a sigh when she noticed you.

Across the room, you tried to pull your friend onto the dance floor, only for her to argue and try to pull you back.

You were laughing like crazy, finding that everything is so much funnier after some drinks.

It was nice to see you letting go of all of your worries and relax for once.

This week has been stressful and Mina was excited for you when your friends asked if you wanted to hit the town tonight.

But, obviously, you got carried away somewhere down the line and now she needed to get you home where you'd be safe to rest and deal with the hangover that was bound to be terrible whenever it struck you.

"Thank you for letting me know. I'm going to get her home." Mina said as she walked to you. "Hey, babe. I know you're having fun but it's time to go home."

She held out her hand for you to take, only for you to stare at her as if you had no idea who she was.

"Come on, pretty girl."

"Don't call me that." You said. "Look, you're pretty but I have a girlfriend. You can't call me those things and I won't go anywhere with you."

"Y/N," She tried to say, hoping to coax you to get to the car.

"No! I told you already - I have a girlfriend! Her name is Mina and I am in love with her."

"Oh? Are you?" She grinned.

Although you've said the words a bunch of times to each other, you never fail to bring a big smile to her face whenever you say it.

And in a moment like this, she finds it to be absolutely heart-warming.

"Yes!"

"You're absolutely adorable. I am your girlfriend, y/n."

You looked hesitant still but as soon as she took your hand and began to brush her thumb along your knuckles, it all seemed to sink in for you.

"Mina! I'm so happy you're here!" You smiled and then threw your arms around her for a big hug.

Mina was taken aback by how suddenly everything changed but she quickly hugged you back. That laugh you adore fell from her lips as she rubbed your back and kissed your head.

"I missed you. I've been thinking about you all night!"

"I've missed you so much, cutie. Come on, let's go home."

You nodded and let her lead you out by keeping her hand on the small of your back.

But you started to stumble a little. Being so drunk, walking straight and steady was so much easier said than done.

Seeing this, Mina got worried that you might trip and fall and end up hurting yourself. She put her arm around your waist to hold you up while she took the keys out of her pocket to unlock the car.

You started to shiver when she opened the door, so she quickly took her hoodie off so she could pull it over your head and warm you up.

"In we go, my love," she said and helped you into the car.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome, baby." She smiled and kissed your cheek, only to notice your change in mood when you hung your head with a shaky breath.

"What is it, baby?"

"Mina, I have to tell you something."

"You can tell me anything, baby girl."

"Before you arrived, there was a girl that tried to get me to go home with her."

Mina had to hold back a laugh when she realized it was her that you were thinking back to.

"But I told her no! I insisted that I wasn't going home with her and I didn't! I told her that I was taken and that you're the one I'm in love with. I hope you're not mad. I wanted to let you know about that."

"Well, thank you so much for letting me know about that, my love. You're just so sweet, aren't you?" She giggled before she pressed a lingering kiss to your cheek. "How about we go home? We'll get into bed and you can sleep before that hangover hits."

"Okay."

She gave you one more kiss on your temple before getting up and closing the door. She got into the driver's seat and started the car, ready to get you both home and into bed, safe and sound.

"I'm going to sleep." You announced as you put your head back against the seat and she could only shake her head with a laugh.

"Alright, cutie."

She started to drive, pulling the car out of the parking spot before waving goodbye to your friends who came out in that very moment to start to head home themselves.

"Just wait until morning comes, baby. I can't wait to tell you about this." She said as she looked over at you to find you sound asleep as she giggled to herself.

She's never felt more excited for a morning to come around than she did now. She just knew it was going to be fun to tease you about this.
