31. Group call

"Dad" I walk into my dads office with Peter next to me.

"What?" He asks already knowing we want something from him.

"You know how it's New Year's Eve"

"Yes"

"And how we always have a party"

"Yes just get to the point" he says.

"Can Ned and mj come for the party?" I give him a face I know he can't say no to. It works with anyone, when I pull it they can't say no to me.

"Stop doing that face you know I can't say no to it" he says and I nudge peter to help.

"Please" we both say at the same time.

"It would mean letting them know your my daughter"

"We actually have a plan around that" peter says.

"Yes we do"

Dad just nods for us to continue telling him our plan.

"Okay well they know Peter is your intern so they wouldn't find it weird how he's at the Christmas party and we can just say we are his guests then they wouldn't suspect anything" I see my dad consider it more.

"Your plan might work" he says.

"So can we invite them"

"Fine yes" he says and peter and I jump up smiling.

We leave my dad to get back to whatever he was doing and quickly head back upstairs into my room.

"We can group video call them" peter says and I nod and he grabs the iPad and gets a group call up and I sit next to him.

"Hey" Neds face pops up on the screen first while it still rings mj.

"Heyy" peter and I smile back.

"When mj joins we need to tell you both something" peter says.

"Omg you're pregnant?" Ned says.

"Whose pregnant?" Mj joins.

"Peter and (y/n)" Ned quickly says before we can say anything.

"Congratulations you guys" mj smiles.

"We aren't pregnant" I quickly say before they say anymore.

"Oh that's sad, I thought I was going to be an uncle" Ned sighs.

"Not gonna happen any time soon" I say and peter nods in agreement.

"Okay so what did you want to tell us?" Ned asks but his face freezes on the screen so we can only hear his voice.

"What are you doing tomorrow night?" Peter asks them.

"Nothing I don't think" they both say.

"Okay well how do you feel about coming to the avengers tower for the New Year's Eve party" Peter smiles.

"Are you being serious?" Ned asks in shock.

"Yeah we just asked mr stark and he said it's fine"

"Are all the avengers going to be there?" Ned says excitedly.

"Well yeah it is the avengers New Years party"

"Omg!!!!" Ned jumps up screaming like a teenage girl.

"(Y/n)! Buddy peed on me!!" Bucky shouts.

"Then clean it up!!" I shout back.

"What happened?" Mj asks.

"Bucky got peed on by the puppy" I tell her.

"Come get your dog!!" He shouts.

"Be back in a minute" I tell Peter and the others.

I walk down the stairs to see Bucky stood holding buddy with a disgusted look on his face while having a wet patch on his thigh.

"Come on bud" I take the small black dog from Bucky. "Max come here" i say and see max follow me as I walk up the stairs and back into my room where I pass Buddy to Peter and max comes sits on my knee.

"You got a new puppy?!!" Ned says in a high pitched voice.

"Yes I got him for Christmas his name is buddy" I smile and stroke buddy's head and he licks my hand.

"He's adorable"

"Max is now a big brother" I smile at max who is smiling and stood up not sure where to sit. He looks around until deciding to sit on the iPad. "Max don't sit on the iPad they don't want to see your bum" I try move him of but he doesn't budge. I hear laughing coming from the call.

"Max come here" peter attempts to move him.

"Max" I say as he lays down on the screen. "Well that's just great"

I stand up and lift him up of the iPad and put him down next to me and he just stares at me looking offended.

"Okay so back to New Years, what time do you want us there?" Mj asks.

"You can come at anytime and you can stay the night if you want" I tell them.

"I will ask my parents" Ned says and runs out of the call but leaving his camera.

"Just texting mine now" mj says and her screen goes blank.

"They say that's fine" ned comes back.

"I gotta be back before 1 so I can't stay the night" mj says.

"Okay we can arrange for someone to take you home if you need it" I tell her. Happy is always there to drive people places, Nat probably won't be able to since she will most definitely have way to much to drink.

"Thanks" she smiles. "I got to go now" she says and hangs up.

"I'm going to, betty is calling me" Ned says and hangs up.

"I'm actually excited for New Years this year" I smile at peter.

"Is it because you have me" he smiles and scrunches up his nose in a cute way.

"Partly yes"

"Only partly?" He looks at me offended and I laugh.

"Only joking, of course it's because you'll be there" I smile and place a quick kiss on his lips.

"Good"
