is evil born or is it made? that was the true question. katherine mills believed it to be both. because while she was raised to be evil she was also born to be. all because of the dark curse.

the evil queen needed to ruin snow white's happiness once and for all. the dark one wanted to be reunited with his long-lost son. the dark curse was the solution to both of their problems.

but all magic comes with a price. once the curse was enacted, it would only be 28 years before a savior born of true love would undo the curse, freeing the people of the enchanted forest. magic, however, also needs balance.

the opposite of a savior. someone not born of love but of hate. not for the joy of having a child but for the possibility of more power.

katherine isabella mills was that person.

or as she was formally known,

katherine, the dark princess

with a mother known as the evil queen and a father known as the dark one, it was clear that her destiny was to be a villain. and villains don't get happy endings.

but after falling in love with a notorious pirate, katherine was determined not to end up like her mother. or her father.

she would have her happy ending. no matter the cost. no matter whose blood had to be spilled.
