When the four of them arrived back at Regina's they raced back into the room the seance had been performed in only to find Regina using her magic to push back what looked like a ghost into the blue vortex before it disappeared.

"What the hell was that?" Emma asked. "Cora," Regina said.

David rushed over to check on Mary Margaret who was lying in a chair, seemingly unconscious. "Mary Margaret, can you hear me?" he asked.

"It's Cora" Mary Margaret mumbled, her voice weak. "Not what we thought. Trying to communicate."

"She was?" Regina asked. "What did she say?"

"Leopold, my mother" Mary Margaret mumbled. "My mother..."

"Shh. Mary Margaret, relax," David said, trying to comfort her. "She's not making sense. We need to call a doctor" Emma said.

"If she knows something that could help us-"

"Regina, it's gonna have to wait," David said.

"It can't wait! If we want to stop Zelena, we have to know what the hell she's doing and why" Regina shouted.

"I can help with half of that," Belle said. "She's planning on going back."

"Going back? Like to the enchanted forest?" Katherine asked, confused.

"No, like back in time," Belle said.

"Are you certain?" Regina asked and Belle nodded. "But no one's ever been able to cast a spell to go back in time," Katherine said.

"Well, clearly, she thinks she can succeed. I mean brains, courage, a resilient heart. Those ingredients are in every time travel spell I've found" Belle said.

Katherine tried not to spend too much time on the fact that Zelena originally wanted her heart for its resilience.

"But why go back in time? I mean, we have no idea what she's trying to accomplish" David said.

"I do," Mary Margaret said, as she woke up. "She didn't..."

"Don't push yourself" David said.

"She didn't want to give up Zelena," Mary Margaret said. "She was forced to by my...by my mother, Princess Eva. She told a secret. Just like I did."

"Wait, I thought our family were the good guys" Emma mumbled.

"Life is too messy for it to ever be that simple," Regina said. "So if it wasn't for Snow's mother Cora would've kept Zelena?" Katherine said.

"She would've been tutored by Rumplestilskin," Belle said. "She would've been the one to combine powers with him to birth Katherine."

"And all if it weren't for this Princess Eva?" Killian asked.
