Once they appeared, Y/N spotted her favorite little black cat on the arm chair. She went to pick him up immediately, wrapping him in her arms. “It’s so good to see you. I was held hostage, Alfie,” she confessed to the gentleman. “That’s a bit dramatic don’t you think?” Severus asked as he went to sit their bags down.

“Not in the slightest. I’m never going back there. I’m also not giving birth in a hospital,” she remarked looking over at the man. Severus just closed his eyes letting out the most annoyed drawn out huff.

“Where will you give birth then?” he asked in confusion. “I was thinking in the woods under a full moon, like a feral animal of course,” she replied with a huge cheeky smile. Severus just shook his head and went to sit on the sofa with his Daily Prophet.

“A birthing center or here, of course. I love the idea of them being born in the place they were conceived,” she said as she went to sit next to him on the sofa.

“It’s too risky,” he remarked, shooting her a look from the side of his newspaper. “Well we’ll see what the Midwife thinks about it. Loads of witches still give birth at home,” she replied. “Hmm,” he muttered, still reading his paper.
