Episode-  28

   I was in tears, it really hurts… Mother looked at me and sigh.. she placed her hand on my cheeks and said, “Estella… why can’t you understand… you will hurt yourself in the end… we can’t change our status… Ella… just stop it already, sweetheart…. Please.. the difference between our status is too high for you to cross…”

  I moved away as her words were too much to take…. I said in tears, “I hate you all…..  I hate you mother and I hate father… I hate who created this status…” I ran to my room in tears… why it has to be me….

   Almost 1 hour later I heard a knock on the door… I heard mother opening the door and then she called me…. I didn’t wanted to go so I stayed in my room… I heard her screaming my name again so… I got up, and walked to the door… I saw a Palace guard…

    I stood beside my mother who was looking at me… the guard said, “Miss. Estella… his majesty asked you to meet him with your mother… now…” I nodded in confusion, father never asked me to meet him personally…

    I stood in front of father and mother was beside me… the assembly hall was empty… just father, me and my mother …. A mister, a women and a young boy around my age stood there…

     King said, “Estella…. Come here…” I looked at him and I was nervous… I looked at my mother and she nodded… I walked to father and stood few meter away with my head down..

  King passed a box to me and said, “This is your gift for this year…” I was happy to hold this in my hand… it’s a small box but I received it from Father..

   I said, “Thank you your majesty…”
  King placed his hand on my head and patted it… it’s the first time for this kind of affection for me… he said, “Open it Estella…”

   I nodded and opened the box… I saw two rings… wedding rings… I looked at him without any word..

   He said, “this is Minster Boyd, his mistress and their son Tristan…. I arranged your wedding with Tristan….” I looked at him with teary eyes… I can’t believe… I have been engaged….

   King said, “The wedding will happen when you will turn 18… that’s all I can do as your father…” I looked at him and said, “I can’t deny for orders your majesty… I will do as you say…” for the first time he is referring himself as my father… I can’t say no…

    Soon I was out in the garden, hugging my knees…. I felt someone sitting beside me… I flinched.. he introduced himself, “I am Tristan… I am good at fighting, handsome and I promise I will be a good man…”

   I turn to him in tears… he said, “You crying….. no way… you don’t like me…”
   I said, “Don’t tell his majesty… he asked me for something, I don’t want to tell him no….. please…. But can you give me sometime…”

   Tristan said, “Ok…. I understand… I also wanted to be appreciated by father… we would be good match… anyways there are still 3 years for the wedding so you can know me… I am sure you will like me… for now can we be friends ….”

    I nodded and said, “good friends…”

   1 month later,
       I am in a feast arranged
for the family…. But I am here as a maid, me and my mother are arranging the plates.... King his Queen and other two wife are talking with the guest who are ministers and other important people… my other half siblings are also here….

   Tristan pulled me aside and said, “Ella.. I have a gift for you…”

   I said, “Tristan I have things to do….”

       He still holds my hand and said, “Stay still..” he was doing something to my hair… I noticed he was putting a flower on it… he said, “See you don’t need jewels like other princess…” I smiled at him and got to work… he is here with his father and half brothers…

     Everyone was enjoying the feast while I am serving the food… out of a sudden I heard the Queen screaming… everyone looked at her as someone was holding a sword on her neck… I noticed the hall was filled with guards and I saw my father was at the end of a sword…

     King asked, “Who are you… how dare you got in…”
