Klaus drove to the Forbes house 15 minutes before it was 8pm and waited in the car until it was time to knock on her door. Caroline noticed Klaus's car when she was finishing getting ready and she found herself smiling with how Klaus appeared earlier just to make sure he wouldn't be late for their fake date.
Caroline heard the knock on the door, making her look at her clock on the nightstand and see it was 8pm, she rolled her eyes with a smile, grabbed her purse and went to open the door, only to find Klaus wearing a suit. Niklaus Mikaelson could have many flaws but she couldn't deny how handsome he was, specially in a suit.
"Good evening, love! If I may say so... You look magnificent." Klaus said, admiring Caroline who was wearing a one shoulder, short and twisted dress with a black jacket and some black heels.

"Thank you, Klaus. You don't look too bad yourself." Caroline said, making Klaus smirk, knowing that was a compliment.
"Shall we go to our date?" Klaus asked with a smirk, because even if he knew it wasn't a real date, that didn't stop him from believing this could make her finally give him a chance.
"We shall." Caroline said, taking his arm and walking over to his car.

Klaus and Caroline were now in the small restaurant eating, talking and enjoying each other's company. Caroline was a bit shocked at how easy it was to talk with Klaus and how she was actually having a nice time.
"You know, love... If this was our real first date I would take you to some place way better than this."
"Klaus, this is a great restaurant. Just because it's in a small town it doesn't mean it's not good."
"I didn't say it wasn't good. Although, a woman like you deserves to go to a place more redefined than this." Klaus said and Caroline rolled her eyes.
"Okay. I'll play along. Where would you take me, then?"
"A small pizzaria in Italy, or maybe a brilliant restaurant in New Orleans." Klaus said, acting like he never thought about the two of them going on a real first date.
"As a first date?" Caroline said in disbelief.
"Of course, Love. First dates are not only to get to know each other but also for the man to show his woman what he would do for her... and I would gladly show you the world." Klaus said and Caroline rolled her eyes.
"I bet you prepare dates like that to every girl who accepts going out with you."
"I've never taken a girl for a date outside the town. I never felt the need for that. But if you would accept a date with me, I would gladly use it to show you a small part of the world." Klaus admitted.
"Yeah, right..."
"Why it's so hard for you to believe in me?"
"Why would you do all that for a first date with me? Why me and not some other girl?"
