Klaus and Elijah were now in the office of their mansion, needing to talk with each other and ask for advices.

"Elijah, I did something and if I tell Caroline... I fear she will end our relationship or push me away."

"What happened, Niklaus?" Elijah asked concerned because he knew how Klaus cared deeply about Caroline and Elijah had noticed how she was being such a good influence on his brother.

"This morning... Caroline and I were together..."

"Yes... Oh! Together together..." Elijah said and Klaus nodded.

"And it was perfect but I did something I've never done before." Klaus said and Elijah simply looked at his brother confused and not sure if he wanted to know what was it. "I... I mark her."

"What? You marked her. But... why?"

"I don't know. I was with her and my wolf side took the best of me."

"Wait. Let me see something." Elijah said and grabbed his agenda.

"What is it?" Klaus asked when saw Elijah's face to seeing what was in his agenda.

"Today is the first day of the mating season for you. Your wolf side wants to find a mate and wants to make the ritual."

"What ritual? What are you talking about, Elijah?"

"Every werewolf when gets to this season, his wolf side gets stronger and has only one mission to find and have a mate. Once a werewolf finds a mate, he marks her during coitus and the next days will be followed by blood sharing and the promise of being together forever. Your wolf side wants Caroline to be completely yours... and not just for now."

"So this ritual is like a marriage?"

"No. It's stronger. Once the ritual is finished, the two mates will feel this special bound between them and it will be painful if they will be distant from each other for too long. It's so strong that the wolf when falls asleep will wake up in a different place, closer to their mate."

"I can't let this ritual happen. Not right now. Caroline hates being pressured into doing something. Everyone who knows her, knows that she is the one who makes the rules and makes her own decisions." Klaus said. "If I try to make her do this ritual, she will probably leave me. I can't afford to let that happen, Elijah."

"Alright. The wolf has only a week to finish the ritual. If he doesn't mark anyone, it will be just like another week passed by, but if started the ritual, the wolf might be rejected by their mate, by having the mate saying I reject you or it will have to spend the rest of the week apart from their mate so it won't finish the ritual."

"Can't I just be around Caroline without doing the rest of the ritual?"

"No. It's the mating season, your wolf side will want to make Caroline his mate, your wolf side will want to finish the ritual." Elijah said.

"Fine. I'll figure out how to be away from her." Klaus said.

"Brother, you should tell her what happened. I'm sure she will understand."

"Do you not know Caroline? She hates people rushing her into doing something. It took me an year to simply make Caroline talk to me without any agenda. She likes to take her time." Klaus said.

"She deserves to know." Elijah said and Klaus nodded, knowing it was true.

"What about you, Elijah? You seemed that you needed to talk about something important."

"Alright... last night... Elena was intoxicated so I took her home and made sure she would be okay." Elijah said and Klaus simply nodded. "And I might have heard her saying she loved me while she was sleeping but this morning she seems to have forgotten all about it and I now am wondering what to do."

"Do you love her?"

"Yes. I never loved anyone like I love her."

"Then find a nice moment to tell her that. Now you know she will say it back, which will take some of the pressure off your shoulders."

"That's a great idea. Thank you, brother." Elijah said.

Caroline went to Bonnie's place after Klaus left because she needed to tell someone the amazing sex she just had.

Caroline found Bonnie laying in the bed, making Caroline quickly get on her lap, which made Bonnie wake up with a gasp.

"Care, what's going on that you got in my room at 9 am?" Bonnie asked.

"Something amazing happened and I needed some girl talk." Caroline said and then heard a door opening, making her look back to face Damon with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"This take me back to my college years." Damon smirked.

"You? Went to college?" Bonnie asked in disbelief.

"Probably just to be a frat boy." Caroline said, rolling her eyes. "I will go but we need to have some girl talk."

April woke up when Kol was still sleeping, so she decided to take a shower and get ready for a new day.

She thought that after knowing about the supernatural world, things would change drastically but the most important stuff didn't change, Rebekah was still her best friend, Kol was still being sweet and protective of her and she sometimes even forgot that her friends were immortal.

April was now choosing what to wear, when Kol wake up and walked over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"You look astonishing in that towel." Kol whispered to her ear.

"Very funny but I have to choose between this red top and this black top." April whispered while Kol planted sweet kisses on her neck.

"You look beautiful in whatever outfit you'll choose. You're so beautiful that nothing can look bad on you." Kol whispered, kissing her shoulder.

"Kol..." she moaned and turn around to face him. "I should really get dressed."

"Alright. I'll go. But friday night we could go out. Just the two of us."

"Absolutely!" April said excited but quickly tried to act cool and said. "I mean... Sure. Why not?"

"Great! Then it's a date." Kol smirked and kissed her forehead before leaving.
