"No. For some reason you have feelings for this baby vampire. You even linked yourself to her. Which means, if I hurt her, you suffer and not only in the physical way but you will also be witnessing her suffering and you won't be able to do a thing about it." Mikael said and shot vervain water to Caroline, making Caroline and Klaus feel burned.
"Stop it! Let her go."
"Why would I do that? You killed my wife. Now it's time for me to kill the woman you love." Mikael said and stabbed Caroline in the stomach with a wooden stake.
"She has nothing to do with this. Leave her alone." Klaus yelled angry.
"Why so protective over someone who wants you dead?" Mikael asked.
"Because unlike you he has feelings, you monster!" Caroline yelled. "You claim Klaus is worthless but the truth is that he knows what's like to have a woman who truly loves him, unlike you. And you say he is a bastard but even if he was born out of wedlock, the truth is that he was fruit of true love. I mean, Esther even made rings to help the werewolves not turn in the full moon. Mikael quickly slapped Caroline making Klaus growl.
"Don't you dare touch her." Klaus yelled.
"Or what? What will you do?" Mikael said with a smirk and with a knife made an M in Caroline's cheek.
"You were going to betray me. But I am always one step ahead." Mikael said to Caroline. "I'll make your deaths so much more painful than you could possibly imagine."
"Yeah, is that why you've been a thousand years after Klaus and had no luck during all this time." Caroline said.
