"She is so cute," I say when Hailey shows me a picture of Raelyn.
"She is," Hailey replies, "but I think Spencer is cuter."
"He is my little adorable monkey," I reply.
"Monkey?"
"Yeah. When Spencer was a baby he would crawl on anything. He would even attach himself to me sometimes when I would hold him. Plus monkeys are his favorite animal."
"So should I expect him to want to climb on things tomorrow?"
"Yes. He'll most likely get antsy too. He hates being quiet at social events. If he starts crying, just give him his pacifier. I know Alex will want to hold both of her boys before the reception."
Emory's POV
"Wait," I tell Callum, "so does that mean you're essentially a dad?"
"Sort of," he replies, "I mean they are my siblings."
"You should talk to Johnny then," I state, "he raised Ronnie."
"He did," Callum asks.
"Yeah. I don't know the details though. Johnny and Ronnie don't like talking about their parents."
