With his aching muscles soaking in the tub Mikage went through every possible explanation to why or even how his body been spontaneously acting up, his initial reasoning had Ryuu as the main perpetrator. However, it was unlikely as the man didn't even seem to have the slightest clue to what he was. Furthermore, just that explanation alone wasn't sufficient enough reason for everything that had occurred.

First off he knew little by little his overall strength was building far past regular human standards, however at this moment it wouldn't be farfetched to reason that perhaps he was evolving way beyond that, and his hair might just be proof of that fact.

"It's completely white," Ryuu commented fiddling with the boy's hair.

Mikage held a piece in front of himself, looking at it carefully in a contemplative frown, "What? Don't you like it"

Ryuu pulled the boy closer towards himself causing some of the water to spill out, "No" he immediately denied, "It's just that I don't want other's to have any more reasons to place their eyes on you". Though Ryuu did quite personally like the hair, it did stand out a lot, and in his world standing out didn't equal anything good.

He silently ran through the countermeasures to prevent any flies, perhaps keeping the boy indoors or maybe on a good day a hoodie may suffice.

Attempting to get even more comfortable Mikage leaned against Ryuu's chest.

"Oh, that was destined to happen with or without the hair." He said his chin propped up proudly, "I say it's all about the charisma".

Ryuu chuckled, "nonsense" after a few laughs Ryuu slowly went quiet.

Sensing a shift in the man's mood Mikage couldn't help but delve deeper into what exactly was on his mind. "You're worried?"

Ryuu didn't say anything his face just hardened, he picked up the boys hands and rested it against his lips. He dragged in a long hard breath before he opened his mouth, "you complete me, you're special, the way you make me feel is not like anything I can put into real words."

The words spoken made Mikage feel a pulling ache in his chest, he wanted to say something reassuring or even something loving to Ryuu, but it would be a lie at this point of time. So he pushed that feeling away and focused on his breathing that seemed to be progressing towards somewhat irregular.

Mikage was unsure why he was personally felt so guilty doing so and to why exactly he was hurting so much; it could've been the way Ryuu's voice scrapped his heart or the words that embraced him.

In a quick rebellious-like huff Mikage positioned himself in a slouch sliding his head further down Ryuu's torso, from his view he could just make out Ryuu's face, though it was upside-down. The man smiled perking an eyebrow slightly as though he was amused but intrigued by Mikage's strange movements.

"Ryuu there is something I want to ask, is that fine?"

Taking into consideration Mikage's serious tone Ryuu nodded discarding his smile with his attention absolutely undivided and firm.

"when one of your members passes what do you do?" at this point Mikage also had his full attention on Ryuu but his eyes seemed to be calling out in pain.

All strangeness aside Ryuu carefully considered the question taking more than a brief moment to answer properly, "when someone dies" he started his tone more sombre and quieter. "we first mourn their deaths, after that, we celebrate their lives then..."

Not able to finish his sentence before Mikage spoke up "But," Mikage interrupted as if knowing what Ryuu was going to say next, "Isn't that selfish? we just forget and move on"
