The trio made their way through Zone 2 where the beginning quest took place.

"According to the game's archives," Aria scrolled through her player menu as they walked "Zone 1 is the safe zone where the city resides. Zone 2 is where we'll find the prologue quest. Once we begin there's no going back, the game will officially begin and we'll unlock the 3 quests to the keytana's."

"And the keytana's will unlock the final boss fight to get us out," Jay adds

"Or at least that's what we hope," Reika chimes in "if this was a standard game."

"Right," Aria nods

The group exits the dark forest they were walking through to find themselves standing in front of what looked like an abandoned castle, but the top half was missing.

"Woah," Reika shivers "this place gives me the creeps."

"Are you sure this is the place?" Jay asks, turning to Aria "The castle looks like its coding wasn't even finished."

"Yep," Aria replies as she closes her menu "that's what the game says."

"Good grief," Jay sighs

"You know you can curse Jay," Reika comments

"Yeah, I'm not you two," Jay replies

"You should try it sometimes," Aria smiles "It'll feel good mentally and emotionally-"

"As if," Jay shoves her and Aria laughs.

The group pushes open the heavy, large, doors to the castle together. They entered the hall to see another large door, with three also large, broken keyholes.

"It looks like the room to a boss fight," Jay points out

"Yeah," Reika says peering inside the room before looking at the others "Without the boss."

"The archives didn't mention anything about the prologue having a boss fight," Aria tells them

"Maybe we have to enter the room together first," Jay suggests with a shrug

"Worth a try," Reika nods

The three of them head into the room and stand in the middle. They look around as they notice that, absolutely nothing, is happening.

"I don't understand," Aria scratches her head

"Me neither," Reika agrees

"Well in newer games the prologue would have a cutscene and explain the backstory of the world," Jay shakes his head "but this is supposed to be an unfinished arcade game."

"That indeed it is!"

The group jump up and huddle together, searching for the voice. Soon enough a large hologram of someone appeared before the three. They curiously walk towards him as he began talking again.

"I am Unagami, the master of this world. Before you lies a great journey. Prime Empire is mine and mine alone, and I refuse to hand it over to you adventurers. Those you believed to guard you will now be your enemies, beware to those who seek the 3 keytana's. If you manage to make it through my trials you will face my wrath, those who fail will be.. collected. Challenge me if you dare."

The hologram laughs as the castle began to shake, outside, dark particles were beginning to travel throughout the land. Once the particles passed through the red visors, their demeanor changed and started attacking many of the players.

Jay, Reika, and Aria ran from the castle as Unagami continued laughing evilly behind them. Once out of the castle, they stopped and stared at the world around them shifted. They could see a dark red light admitting from the peaceful city they took refuge in.

"Well," Aria says at she stares at the city "let the game begin."
