"She should be here by now, where is she?" Sadie asked Mitchell nervously as she paced around the living room.

"Relax Sadie, it's probably just traffic." Mitchell reassured his sister.

"But what if something bad happened? What if- if-" Sadie panicked and gasped for breath.

"Sadie, calm down." Mitchell said as he put his arm around his sister to calm her. "Nothing happened, she'll be here soon, okay?" He said calmly as he stroked Sadie's back.

Sadie nodded slightly as she tried to breathe evenly. After Sadie calmed down she pulled away from Mitchell.

"I'll call her." She said and then took out her phone and dialed your number. "Voice mail. Mitchell, Y/n never goes to voicemail. Is there a problem..." She cried.

Before Mitchell could answer, Sadie's phone rang. Her vision was blurred from tears so she didn't even look to see who was calling.

"Y/n?" She asked hopefully.

"Is this Sadie Sink?" He asked on the other end of the line.

"Yes, it's me."

"This is Officer Walsh and I'm calling because of Y/n Y/l/n."

Sadie was silent, the tears in her eyes growing. Mitchell watched his sister worriedly and then came to her side and put his arm around her. After Sadie hung up the phone, she turned to Mitchell.

"We have to go to the hospital." She said in a hushed voice.

–––

"Excuse me, we're looking for Y/n Y/l/n." Sadie said to the receptionist.

"Are you family?" She asked.

"I'm her girlfriend." She said.

"Okay." Said the receptionist then started typing on the computer. "She's in the operating room right now but you can see her shortly, please take a seat."

"Thank you." Mitchell said.

---

"The surgery is over. She still a little dizzy from the anaesthetic but you can go in now. She's in room 220." The receptionist said after she went to Sadie's.

"Thank you." Sadie and Mitchell said at the same time and then started running down the hall.

Once they found the room they stopped in front of the door. You were lying on the bed with a bandage and an IV in your arm. Just as Sadie reached for the doorknob, the door opened and the doctor stepped out.

"What happened to her?" Sadie asked without saying hello.

"Sorry for the disrespect, she's very worried." Mitchell said.

"Of course, it's no problem." The doctor said and then turned to Sadie. "There's been a car accident. A drunk driver sideswiped her, it's a miracle she survived." He continued.

Sadie's eyes filled with even more tears.

"There were no complications during the surgery. You can go in but please be patient." He said and walked away.

Sadie and Mitchell went into the room. Sadie pulled a chair over to the bed, sat down next to you and held your hand.

"Y/n." Sadie whispered in a hushed voice.

You slowly opened your eyes, trying to adjust to the light in the room. You opened your eyes fully and looked around the room.

"Whe- where am I?" You asked hoarsely.

"In hospital. You had an accident." He said.

"What accident?" You asked.

"A car accident. A driver crash you from the side."

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"Everything and nothing."

"I was so worried about you. I waited for you at home but you didn't come and you didn't tell me you were late. I got a bad feeling and here we are." She said as she wiped her face of tears.

You looked at her with a frown. "Who are you?"
