A month later...

This whole past month has been alright. Still confusing though. Like, nobody understands, and I feel dumb. I love August and I'd want to be with August but all this shit that's going on while we are not together is temporary. If me and him did end up back together things may change. Then I love Jamal. He makes me so happy and I feel so secure when he's around, but I feel that way with August too. The babies seem to love him, even Anthony. Me and August has been on that 'bestfriend' type of thing, because he said he wanted a title for us. Right now him, me, mama, and the kids are at his house. He is cooking. He came into the living room with some plates and turned the T.V on.

"Thanks.. But what is this?" I ask

"My interview I did last week." He smiled. "Hea' you go mama." He handed her a plate, and then Anthony. They was talking about his music, and joking around and then one question came along that caught my attention.

"What are your future plans about your future first born and do you plan on having anymore children? How are you and your childs mother?"

"Well... Uh." He cleared his throat and sat up in his seat. "Ima be honest about this right na', and i should have been since I got to tha spot I'm in. But this won't be my first child. It'll be my fifth. See I have a five yea' old an three bout seven month olds. Triplets. All by my uhm, have I eva told yal about a time I had in highschool!?" He asked

I looked at him from the corner of my eye. He was eating and watching the interview with no care in the world.

"You never did, but we're all ears." The lady smiled

"Aight.. Well I had already mentioned the girl that cheated on me with one of my old homeboys. Afta' that I was heartbroken an all'lat shit. Then at school I met this girl at a night club I went to ta sing at ya heard me. She was standing thea' or whateva an like we spoke, an I guess she got nervous an walked away afta' a few words but I was digging ha. That's when I was with ol' girl tho.  Well me an this girl became bestfriends, she was taken an I was taken... My dumb ass was steadily tryna bust some moves on her due to tha fact I was single then. We ended up dating, and she got pregnant... By me that is. I had got a call one night ta go ta 'party' to discuss some music down thea in LA, an I ended up cheatin on her. I didn't mean to." He laughed. They laughed also

"Would you believe me if I said I was drugged?" He said in all seriousness

"Remix." The man said

"Nah. I'm being dead ass. The girl I cheated on ha with drugged me with .... Uhh, viagra I think it was. But anyways. All this shit happened, I cheated on tha woman from back then with my ex an duhduhduhduhduh... I just finally broke everything off with ha not too long ago, but yeah I love my bestfriend/baybehs mama, an my kids. She's happy with her 'new man' ." he said sounding like me. "And as long as she an tha kids happy. Im happy. But I got to go." He go up.

August got up and turned the T.V off.

"So have y'all been foolin?" Mama sheila asked

"Whhaaaaaaat?" I dragged and looked at August "pshh no!"

She turned and looked at August. He shrugged "She don't want this no'mo." He laughed

"But in all seriousness we haven't had sex or anything."

"I'm surprised." She said

"Me too." I looked up to see that August said that

"Mama, excuse us. I need to have a word with August." I walked into the kitchen and waited for him

"Wh-" before I could get anything out Kayla had jumped on me and wrapped her legs around me and started kissing me.

"What tha fucks wrong with you?" I asked up against her lips

"I don't know.. It's just something about you!" She started messing with the curls in my head. I took her to the table and laid her on it.

"Cut him off." I whispered

"huh?"

"Cut Jamal off, be with me."

"I'll rather be single than get with you right now!" She started kissing me again. "Take me upstairs." She said

"Why?" I asked

"Because August!" She whined

"Because...?"

"You like playing childish ass games with me huh?" She asked. I smirked

"Ka- well... " I turned my head to see my mama walking out.

"No! No! Mama!" Kayla pushed me and jumped off the table
"It wasn't like that! Or what it looked like."

"Kayla. You and my sons not slick." She laughed

"Alright. Get this. Mama, me an Kayla's in love it. Fuck what she tell you. She just not ready to handle all this right hea' right na'." I laughed

"Bye!" Kayla said

"I luh you baybeh mama."

She folded her arms and flopped on the couch.

"Mama.. You heard tha man." Anthony but in smiling

She mugged me and him too. "Love you too baby daddy."

"You betta."

"Y'all are something else... Just make sure y'all don't do anything! The triplets aren't even one yet."

"Oh, no babies are coming out of me. I'm proudly on birth control and me and Jamal use protection still so I'm not worried about having anymore children." She said

"That's even betta." I mumbled

"Alright. Thanks for the food son, I'm about to drive down to H-town to hang with the girls. I'll be gone all weekend so I'll see you when I get back. You too Kayla." She smiled and left. Kayla was getting the kids stuff ready to leave.

"What you doing?" I asked her

"Leaving?"

"Why?"

"Because im tired. I'm going to go home wash the babies up, give Anthony a bath, and take a shower and go to bed."

"It's only seven."

"Okay..."

"Stay hea'. I got plenty of rooms and I just got two three more finished. Follow me." I led her upstairs to the rooms I just got decorated and stuff for the babies.

"You did this?" She smiled

"I picked the theme or whatnot but yes."

"That's so sweet of you."

"Im supposed to do it though. I'a put them in they beds and shit, go look at Ants room down the hall." I told her and went to get the babies. After me and her washed them up we put them to sleep, and went to my room and we may or may not have done some things.
